The thing is AR historically is in the 50% something range. One word "inconsistent". Heck, we never know which AR will show up week to week. Anybody without O & B glasses knows this.

Deferring the kickoff is just smart football… not sure what you are getting at there. Starting field position usually has more to do with punts and kickoffs after scores than the opening of the halves.

Smart football? Lol. Spurrier always wanted the ball first and to start with the lead. It’s aggressive coaching: not playing scared. I watch our offense and see vanilla play calling & playing it safe. I watch AR play like a scared to throw QB. Who is coaching him? We rank 125th in 3rd down defense. I see scared money everywhere. Hope that changes this weekend and we play lights out.
We all hope for a big win. But scared money? How about young kids trying to learn the game? That's what you're seeing. Go Gators.
It is smart football. Many many coaches do it. And it has very little to do with gaining a starting field position advantage because the other team has weak special teams. Stupid money is just stupid. Napier knows more about football, more about his staff and team, more about what AR can and can’t do than anyone in this board. Critique him all you want… but your opinion is just that.. an uninformed opinion.
