Tennessee safety Jalen McCollough arrested on serious charges Tennessee safety Jaylen McCollough is listed on the Knox County arrest report charged with aggravated assault, per VolQuest’s Brent Hubbs. McCollough is in his fourth season as a starting safety for the Volunteers, and has recorded 23 tackles so far this year. He has played all 40 games since the beginning of his true freshman season in 2019. According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, the police report states the incident occurred Sunday afternoon at 3:28 p.m. ET. A man said he had been drinking with friends at an apartment complex when he went to retrieve items from his vehicle. He returned to the building and went to the wrong apartment, knocking on McCollough’s door instead of his friends’.
The guy even apologized to him for going into the wrong apartment and was leaving when he sucker punched him causing him to fall down the staircase. Messed him up bad because it was so hard a punch, it bloodied his own hand. We won't see him back in a Tennessee uniform ever again.
Yes we will, the vols are so desperate to be relevant again they will do whatever it takes to get him on the field.
There are medical professionals working around the clock with local dentists and some alums to make an offer to the injured young man. Redirected NIL money might fix all of this. "I was trying to hug the guy when I smashed my face repeatedly on the corner of the door by mistake. I'll be dropping all charges immediately. I have no more comments, besides, I'm sorry, I need to go to the DMV to register this new car!"" Either that or he'll end up in the transfer portal with a sign around his neck. Will work hard for NIL money... Go Gators.
I know how low Jimbo can go. And I know how low Deion Sanders can go. Just ask the TV broadcaster who Deion threw two buckets of water on in the Atlanta locker room because Deion didn't like the broadcaster's comments on the air. Like the broadcaster said, "You're a real man, Deion."
Article states third Tenn player arrested for assault in last two months. Making a run to reclaim the Fulmer cup!
Hopefully UT will still have enough players to field a team against Bama. But UT fans will have a musical excuse. Instead of singing "Rocky Top," they'll be singing "He's in the Jailhouse Now."
