Brought to you by "Rando" videos---

While I don't agree with a lot of her foreign policy stuff, I do agree with most of the rest as they are a primary reason I have changed from democrat to independant--

This reminds me of the time my friend announced on Facebook he was gay years after openly being in a relationship with another man.

Good. Bye. Now, the Republicans can't claim her as a Democrat who supports their anti-LGBTQ agenda.

Man, that speech had every Republican buzzword imaginable. It was almost a talent.

I don’t have any feelings about Gabbard in particular, but I’d like to see a bit more diversity of ideologies within the two parties. At this point, it seems like each member must be in lockstep with all the parties’ stated issues or face some kind of wrath, which I don’t think is healthy.

Unfortunately, there isn't a party of equality for the LGBT community. One party pretends to be their friend for political gain while the other admits to not being their friend for political gain.

There are always going to be issues with a major political party because it needs to remain broadly popular. But I don't believe for a second that the Democratic Party is only pretending to be a friend of the LGBTQ community. Are there issues where the party comes up short? Yes. But those things tend to be cured with time.

Yeah, that was a one minute reading of bumper sticker slogans. There's a lot I don't agree with from the far left but there's nothing moderate about this video. It's just more generalized flame throwing for clicks / votes (same thing)

Hence the need for more party choices. Which was my point.

What a strange post, but a good description of what we’re all arguing over these days.
Surely there are many gays who are comfortable with the Conservative party and there are plenty who identify with the libbies. There isn’t a perfect fit for anyone in each party if you ask me. But we all seem to be more sensitive than ever over a fraction of the population.

I’d just like to see elected members to Congress (and state legislatures) represent their constituents, and act in their best interests, as opposed to the current environment of swearing fealty to their respective Party.

I think it’s good to have core values. I am unfamiliar with Gabbard’s views, so I don’t know what we’re talking about here exactly, but I do think it’s often hard to find a clear boundary line of acceptability. It seems each generation deals with new issues of equality. Likely your and my current views will seem unacceptable to many in just a couple decades.

After she spoke at CPAC this announcement shouldn't come as a surprise at all.

She was a member of a very anti-LGBTQ cult. She apologized for her "past" views when running for President as a Democrat. But, of course, she has returned to her old ways now that she's trying to ingratiate herself with Republicans, even saying DeSantis's "Don't Say Gay" Law doesn't go far enough.
