These disgusting comments shouldn't surprise anyone, this is who racist ass Tuberville is and has always been. He's definitely not the only former/current college football coach who feels that way, since he's no longer involved in sports and is in politics he's free to let it be known how he really feels. That's why he was welcomed with open arms by his current party, that contingent aligns themselves with scumbags like him and there are plenty of scumbags who feel the same way that he does.

Before I entered this thread, I wondered how a certain contingent would attempt to deflect from Tuberville's ignorant statements. I certainly got my answer.

 

I don’t think that former black players who liked him will let this slide. It’s not the kind of thing that black people ignore. Perhaps, they won’t hate him, but it likely changes perceptions. BTW, love is a strong word for the typical relationship between a player and a former coach. I’m sure there are a few here and there that have a strong bond, but not the overwhelming majority.

 

This isn't about my party buddy, this is about your boy Tuberville making racially charged statements and you deflecting from them, as usual. Since you seem to have zero issue with his statement, I'll have no choice but to assume that you agree with him.

 

Folks are so used to black people being a forgiving group of people, that they just ignorantly assume that will be the case with racist ass Tuberville and his former players.

 

I do agree with him in that the liberal party of the United States has created a huge problem for many law abiding citizens and has put many police officers in increased danger.
