On my dell laptop. It will open to the start page but as soon as I move the curser the screen goes to all blue. Windows 10 pro.
I've done a hard start several times with no change.
    Advice?

Found a youtube cast that dealt with it by doing a "hard" shutoff by holding the start/stop button down for 30+ seconds. I did that and it loaded up normal.

You should have a program on your PC called Dell command or Dell Update or possibly if its an older Dell it might have the Dell system support app.

Either way, you can run that and it will find and update all of your drivers and possibly fix the problem that is causing Blue screens. Nearly 90% of all BSODs are related to bad or outdated drivers or bad physical hardware.

As soon as I read the OP, first thought was driver. It's almost always a driver.

Yep. I used to try to use WinDBG and get all extra nerdy about it but 90% of the time the stack trace would point to a windows component which is highly unlikely.

Yep. Looking at dump files. Fun, lol. And if it's not a driver, Windows Update broke, I mean "fixed" something.
