SEC GAME THREAD: South Carolina at (13) Kentucky, Saturday at 7:30pm on SECN

This thread was created about this particular game. I choose to always be respectful and when the game is over whether you win or in my case get your ass kicked you salute the other team. I’m not big on politically correct things either, however being classy doesn’t fall into that category and it’s the way you should be in my opinion.

Yes go to another school that is supposedly a step up and enjoy the pressure cooker of getting fired mid-season or continue to try to build something that you created… tough call

So? Name me an opponent that beat us and reminds everyone of this when we were starting our backup. Man down, next man up, or so they say...

Exactly right. That’s why coaches make insane money… figure it out and get everyone prepared. The coaching staff, and team were served humble pie. I also had a nice big serving as well.

 

It hit me in 2015 when we lost in the final four to Wisconsin and I took out the loss with my attitude on a lot of people and then it hit even harder when Covid stopped sports. It also helps when your coach is a dirtbag and you want him out, which curbs your fandom lol.

I don't think we should throw many darts about getting beat by USCe considering what they did to UF last year.

BAMA was pathetic without Young although one could say TAMU played inspired football

Seems Iike alot of parity in the SEC this year. UGA didn't exactly roll over Kent State or Mizzou.

I think some posters here should consider the posting record of certain rivals, you and REM are always respectful and have a long history here, you should not be treated as trolls.

 

Appreciate the post and thoughts! The football losses are just magnified compared to other sports. I was really looking forward to a great year but the wheels are falling off and not sure the parts are in stock.

 

Tough sport in a tough league. 2 losses in the SEC East is probably to much to overcome in so far as SECCG or playoff hopes.

A 9 or even 10 win season is not however. Best of luck going forward.

 

Beat Tennessee and the season will look brighter. But, I get it. Most teams, including the Gators are so dependent on a couple of players...and we're not talking hoops either.

By the way, hoops will crank up soon and the Csts always serm to have plenty of bench, unlike some other team I'm familiar with.
