AR seemed to play through his rough spell yesterday, which is a big step forward from just imploding like he did against KY. Perhaps we’re seeing him develop - it’s not like he’s had a bunch of snaps. To those calling for Kitna to replace AR, you’re nuts. AR needs all the reps he can get. It’s the only way to improve, which he seems to be doing.

Ventrel was the best player on our team yesterday - we’re screwed without him

 

One thing I'd like to see is AR take a couple of plays or a series off to get coached and watch the play from the sideline to get a different perspective and snap him out of his funks. That's not the same thing as benching him. Not calling for rotating qbs or anything but sometimes watching does wonders for someone who is overwhelmed in a moment.

 

Although our offense was the reason for losing to Kentucky, if we had one other player holding it down with ventrell like Hopper then we are probably undefeated right now.

 

I’ll never understand why Hopper left. He hurt us and himself and ended up living in freaking Missouri playing for a sub-500 team. Terrible decision.

 

Others have stated he left for family reasons as well as a possible negative history with batemen and his cousin while at UNC

 

On TV he was winching in pain on his throwing hand, he should tell Billy to let someone else have the reigns until he quits winching. I don’t like injuries but playing while injured doesn’t help the team. No one is going to take his job unless they can move the chains and get into the end zone quickly. We went with one guy under Mullen, didn’t go so well. We need consistent QB play!

 

Does the band play the Darth Vader theme every game. Or were they jabbing Drinkwitz about the Mullen thing. Laughed when I heard that
