I was confident this morning but that was even better than I envisioned. What a terrific day. I watched every second and loved every second.

 

The Oklahoma program is going down in flames as I type.

Has anybody, at any point, seen a passing box score this bad? Never mind the fact it is a major rivalry game for a huge program- but five quarterbacks (I’m assuming some were probably trick plays, didn’t watch the game) threw for a combined 39 yards…

 

They will be begging Bob Stoops to take over soon.

All y’all criticizing our coaching, can you see how it takes awhile when you take over a program? Venables didn’t just forget how to coach defense or is not ready to coach in P5 ball.

 

Lumpy was a great DC, just not meant to be a HC. Some guys just can’t be CEOs.

 

That game exemplifies why the so-called genius experts don’t know their butts from a hole in the ground. Three weeks ago they were saying this might be one of the most complete Oklahoma teams they have seen in years. The defensive guru head coach is giving up close to 50 points per game the last three games. Then they get shut out by Texas. Talking about rebuilds.

True, but it’s too early yet to come to this conclusion on Venables. We all were saying the same thing about Smart before he won it all.
