That's my point. He's not hurt in the sense it prevents him from playing football. Players play with minor injuries all the time. Therefore, it's not a valid excuse to say AR is hurt so this is why he's playing so bad. Good QBs play hurt and still perform.
A good scheme can cover for a lack of talent. You see this with teams like Appalachian State when they beat TAM. The talent is no where close to the same, yet scheme and coaching can make all the difference.
He's been playing injured pretty much all year. If we can't utilize him as a threat to run, and he isn't making good decisions throwing the ball, then maybe we should give the qb who played last week, a chance?
Clearly never played football. You play hurt ALL DAMN season. Everybody has pains and soreness. There are varying degrees of injury, but no one goes through the season all sparkly clean with no injuries. Guys are banged up all the time every game. You just don't hear about every one of them because it's normal.
No, it was so we could call a second timeout to ice the kicker on a chip shot field goal, then take a knee.
While some of the things this current staff is doing befuddles me. 98% of the problem is the previous staff.
I honestly don't see us winning this unless AR can flip the switch, or the D/ST find a way to steal a win. If all else fails, maybe Kitna should get a chance. At the half, we are absolutely being taken to the woodshed by their D and we better get it together soon or else.
I do. I am tired of seeing coaches cycled through UF who are fruity in their thinking. Right now, Napier has Mac, Muschamp and Mullen beat hands down.
I’m done with Richardson. You can’t have a mentally weak QB. Every week it is more excuses. Play calling, injuries, etc. He cannot get it done. He is the opposite of a gamer. Feleipe Franks 2.0.
I played the last game of my senior year with a screwed up shoulder. I couldn’t extend my arm and push worth a damn, yet I went out there and did what I could. There really wasn’t anyone behind me to take my spot, but if there was, the best thing I could have done was told the coach and sat out. It is on the coach to see how badly the injury is affecting his game, and pull him if he is ineffective.
