Here's what I think is an excellent breakdown of the offence against E. Wash. This guy does this for both offence and defense for Gator games. I've seen a lot of fan breakdowns for different sports over the years, and I tell ya, this guy as good as anything I've seen. What I really liked is how he explained how AR's technique breakdowns limits and messes up plays- really good. For Kitna, he breaks how how he did a lot of good things. Things that would translate against better teams.
It’s just good to know he exists. When AR was struggling and Jalen didn’t get so much as a series, it was worrisome.
OK, what did the OP originally say? Note: I just did an edit. He didn't have a "food" game, he had a good game.
Kitna looked really good. The Bo Nix comparisons to having a good game against EWU are silly. Bo Nix is a 4 year player and started a couple of SEASONS at Auburn facing the best defensesin college ball. Kina is a young player getting just FIRST live action and did well. Kid hrew some absolute dimes. Bo Nix isn't garbage. He has had some bad games and then has played lights out in others.
Billy Napier said it best “ I think we learn not to crown them already” he played well against an FCS opponent. Will the stats be the same against a top SEC team? We don’t know but what we do know it’s a start.
People claim Kitna "should" have done what he did against EW because they made Nix look good but I think the positive reaction is due to Gator "PTSD." People remember the Treon struggling against FAU or others from that era struggling against lesser quality teams. It's been a rough decade for gators where we have seen some unfathomable struggles on offense, and now on defense.
