Wow, has anyone seen this guy play? 37 points, 4 boards and 5 blocks against a G League team, 7 of 11 threes.

    A shooting guard in a center's body.

He is playing again right now if you have access to G League games. I've never tried to watch a G League game, no idea where to find them. But I'm giving it a whirl, that kid is incredible

Midway through the third he has 21 points and 8 boards against G League Ignite

Finished with 36 and 11 today. Only 2-7 from 3. Also added 4 assists and 4 blocks.

yeah he's unbelievable. I've only been following him for a few months but every time I see him play I'm more impressed. The only major question mark is whether he can stay healthy and injury free. There are so few guys in the league over 7 feet tall that didn't deal with lingering injuries their entire careers. Hope he's one of the few because he's such an incredible prospect, once in a generation

how can an initial post be off topic? The title seems to match the content.

The one thing he has going for him is he doesn't move like any other 7'5 guy I've seen. Dudes like Shawn Bradley were awkward in their movements. Victor moves likes he's 6'5

This appears to be a Lebron, Kobe, Garnett, Moses Malone type talent that does not need much time between HS and pros.

very true. he's actually quick and quite fluid, his range of motion and release point is off the charts too, almost making him unblockable

He's so good! Has potential to change the game.

Sadly, there are very few (any?!) guys of his size and body type that have stayed consistantly healthy and productive over a decent amount of time. Hoping he stays healthy.

Too bad Chet got hurt right away - was curious to see how his game translated to the NBA.

My first comparison was Reggie Miller, lanky shooting guard, doesn't play like a big man

    My completely ignorant take:

It will be up to his knees as to whether he has a long career or not. Close second: his ankles. You are built big for a reason, too tall isn't usually a great gift.
