It's also possible that some of the folks convicted of simple possession were charged with distribution but pled to the lesser offense.

I assume this will have impact on the 3-strikes and your out. If one or two of your strikes were weed related, perhaps this gets you out. Don't know, but glad to see it.

My first shroom experience was in Amsterdam. We asked for the really strong shrooms after the earlier ones hadn't kicked in yet. The shop let us know it'd be better to wait a bit longer and not to take the strong ones. We didn't listen. It was a really crazy experience. I later came to understand that the only way I could enjoy psychedelics was to mix with alcohol to eliminate the anxiety.

So what does this mean for Marijuana companies and them being able to use traditional banks backed by the Feds?
I guess it's still illegal on a Federal level so I assume no change?

Yes falsely. Nothing in my post was directed at any particular poster. What’s on display is tribalism. Despite my post being 100% true you construed it to be an attack on like minded posters here.

    Troubling.

I missed your king gizz post! Those dudes are so badass. I saw them at the 9:30 club in DC in 2017 and they absolutely blew my doors off. Such a good show.

And you can’t help but shake your head at how prolific they are. Just pulling amazing albums out of their asses. Sometimes several per year.

One of their most recent tunes “The Dripping Tap” is incredible. 18 minutes of pure energy.

    Enjoy them at RR!

    Tribalism? Like minded?
Dude I agree with YOUR side.

I am 100% in favor of legalization.

The "tribe" you were describing is not on my side of the issue.

Apologies for misunderstanding or even misrepresentation of your point. But its becoming common here for people to try and jump ahead of the other sides posts so I judged you comment as such.

I have no doubt that recreational pot will be legal in all 50 states within 5 years or less. And the reason, like everything else, comes down to money. States just can't resist the money they can make by taxing the hell out of pot sales. More than $12 billion in marijuana has been sold in Colorado since legalization in 2014, with the state collecting over $2 billion in taxes. It will be hard for any state to resist that.

Yeah now that the dam has busted loose it’s just a matter of time. Pot is so hilariously harmless compared to alcohol and there is soooo much money to be made. It’s a cash crop and we are a capitalist country. It’s amazing it’s taken this long, frankly. I blame the puritans.

I don't think so. Biden's move is more PR in advance of the midterms.

Sidenote: I have tendinitis in right arm, hand, and pretty bad in the index finger. Just too much typing and use of handheld devices. Recently I picked up a cream with cannabis extract in it. It doesn't give any kind of buzz, but provides instant relief from pain. Pretty amazing stuff. Sorry - back to the 'shroomin anecdotes. :emoji_sunglasses:
