LOL. You aren't correcting, you're lying. Desantis voted Aye for the amendment that approved 17B in funding. A perfect example of what you are saying is me constantly correcting you and the other libs on Covid lockdowns, school closures, masks and vaxxing healthy kids. You're welcome for me giving you the correct analogy.

Here is the full text of the amendment DeSantis voted for, can you identify the 17B in funding he voted to approve?

After section 904 (but before the short title), insert the
    following new section:
Sec. 905. (a) There is hereby rescinded an amount equal to
    1.63 percent of--
    (1) the budget authority provided (or obligation limitation
imposed) for fiscal year 2013 for any discretionary account
    in any fiscal year 2013 appropriation Act;
    (2) the budget authority provided in any advance
appropriation for fiscal year 2013 for any discretionary
account in any prior fiscal year appropriation Act; and
    (3) the contract authority provided in fiscal year 2013 for
any program that is subject to a limitation contained in any
fiscal year 2013 appropriation Act for any discretionary
    account.
    (b) Any rescission made by subsection (a) shall be applied
    proportionately--
    (1) to each discretionary account and each item of budget
authority described in such subsection; and
    (2) within each such account and item, to each program,
project, and activity (with programs, projects, and
activities as delineated in the appropriation Act or
accompanying reports for the relevant fiscal year covering
such account or item, or for accounts and items not included
in appropriation Acts, as delineated in the most recently
    submitted President's budget).
    (c) In the case of any fiscal year 2013 appropriation Act
enacted after the date of enactment of this section, any
rescission required by subsection (a) shall take effect
immediately after the enactment of such Act.
    (d) Within 30 days after the date of enactment of this
section (or, if later, 30 days after the enactment of any
fiscal year 2013 appropriation Act), the Director of the
Office of Management and Budget shall submit to the
Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives
and the Senate a report specifying the account and amount of
each rescission made pursuant to subsection (a).

Fortunately she isn't very creative, so it is an easy copy and paste.

Are you denying that you originally said he voted for the bill?

Is the following true (just a yes or no)?

DeSantis voted against funding (with no offsets) in 2013. He voted for funding (with no offsets) in 2017.

If you can acknowledge this factual truth, we're done here. If not, then you will need to be corrected every time you deny it.

I agree, you have answered several times that you can't find 17B of funding in the amendment DeSantis voted for.

once again i am amazed by how far off from the original thread this has gotten. it started out as desantis doing something nice for other people, and if you believe it was out of the goodness of his heart or a political ploy/photo-op, that is what should be talked about.it has morphed over about the last 20 pages or so into a he said/she said semantic debate over who voted for what, a bill or a amendment concerning hurricane sandy relief.in stead of highjacking this thread, and i am guilty of doing that on other threads, if that topic is so meaningfull to you, start a new thread and let's stick to the original topic.moderators i know you read these and have a thankless job, but is there some way you can keep topics on point?

No, that was not the question. I agree he voted for an amendment to the bill to require any relief spending to be offset by spending cuts elsewhere. See it's not that hard to acknowledge factual truth. You should give it a try.

So I will simplify the question. Did DeSantis ultimately vote against the relief bill in its final form (the one that had no offsets)?

That wasn't up for debate. He voted Aye for an amendment that gave 17B in funding for Sandy. End of discussion.
