He did not as the amendment did not allocate any money. Only the main bill did. And he voted Nay on that.

Because they didn't include the amendment. He voted for the bill with the amendment. Case closed.

He voted Aye for the amendment with the bill. Simple as that. He VOTED for 17Billion in relief for Sandy. End of discussion. Thanks for confirming yet again I was right.

Lol. That amendment did not allocate any relief funding. The amount of relief funding allocated by the amendment is $0.00. So it would be fair to say he voted for $0 in Sandy relief, but certainly no more than that.

When legislators pass an amendment, it modifies (or amends) the original bill. It doesn't pass the bill. A separate vote takes place after the amendment is passed where legislators vote on the actual bill.

DeSantis voted for the amendment. He voted against the bill.

No, he did not. The bill with the amendment included was never voted on by the House.

No, he did not. There was never a vote for the bill with the amendment included. He voted for the amendment. At no point did he vote for the bill with the amendment attached because such a vote never happened.

It is really simple. He voted to attach something to a bill. He did not vote for that bill, either with the amendment attached or not. This is factual, sport.

He voted against the extra libbie spending in the bill….probably wouldn’t vote for educating youth by drag queens.

Nope. It's ok. Sucks to be wrong like you've been. Don't worry, the losing streak has to stop at some point, right...? LOL

Yeah, you are in full out arguing Covid isn't a disease mode.

But the facts are, as has been patiently explained to you by the people who actually understand how things work:

    1. DeSantis voted against both Sandy relief bills.
    2. DeSantis voted for an amendment to one of those bills that did not allocate any Sandy relief but rather cut spending elsewhere.
    3. That amendment failed and the bill was never voted on with that amendment attached.

And you are just dug in on insanely wrong. Good luck, but there is a reason that you can't substantively argue your claims. Because they are wrong. And you are so upset about it, that you have to rely on nonsense. Well, you have been embarrassed enough, and everybody that is even vaguely honest knows how this went. So good luck trying to convince everybody that you didn't take a huge L when everybody is laughing at you due to it.
