The amendment had to do with cutting spending elsewhere to pay for the relief bill. The amendment was the offset that repubs were demanding for Sandy aid that they didn't demand for aid for the 2017 hurricane that hit Florida.

Oh, so he voted for a bill that would've provided 17 billion in relief for Sandy and then the dems decided to add more crap to it so he said no. Got ti. So yes, he voted for 17 billion in relief for Sandy. Thanks for confirming.

No, he didn't vote for the bill at any stage. That amendment only dealt with an offset for spending (by way of cutting the discretionary spending as a whole by 1.63%). It did not propose any actual spending for Sandy affected areas or people. You need to stop digging. You lost.

It still seems accurate that RD voted for the $17B. He just wanted it to be sans some other stuff.

Seems all of you are a little bit right here

Very predictable. For once, just man up and admit that you were wrong instead of being a weasel.

That won't ever be admitted by the "never wrong" crowd. Still waiting on them to admit school closures were wrong LOL. So yeah, not happening here.

No, DeSantis did not vote for the the $17B. He voted for an amendment that would reduce spending in other places. He voted Nay on the actual bill.

No, he never voted for a single Hurricane Sandy relief package. He only voted for cutting the overall federal budget to make up for the proposed spending.

No, you showed an Aye for the amendment, which did nothing but cut discretionary spending by 1.63%. It did not propose spending $17 billion. That was done by the main bill, which he voted against.

No, DeSantis did not vote for the $17B. He voted for an amendment that would require offsets for the $17B. So he/they tried to use the emergency as a way to cut spending elsewhere. In 2017 DeSantis voted for Irma aid without any offsets. That's just basic hypocrisy.

I’m sure you would like that a lot. You might be ranked #1 in the condescension club. Surely you know that the way you write affects how people like me respond.
You’ve been here much longer so it’s clear that the onus is on you to clean up your act first. Guys like you have taught me how I should respond and I do accordingly. Case closed.
