Glad to see the starters get some rest for a short week coming up. Glad to see backups getting plenty of reps. glad to see (in hindsight) AR throw that pick to keep him grounded. Actually the INT may not have been a bad decision as much as a bad throw. The Wr was behind 2 guys and if the throw was longer and more to the outside, could have been a big gainer. Ball was under thrown. Good game for the O to gain some confidence, though it was against a bad team.
Not so fast, my friend. Our defense hasn't shown the ability to stop anybody, even a very average EWU team, nor a terrible USF team. The offense has the ability to score on anyone and seems to be getting better. But that defense has yet to show any ability to play up to SEC-caliber competition.
Mizzou sets up as a huge game for UF. They are pretty good on defense. One of the key games of the year if we hope to go bowling. Any thought of overconfidence should have dissolved considering their fine performance against UGA. This is a must win for UF, I hope the Swamp is rocking.

We have to REMEMBER that we are going through a transitional year regarding Gator Football. The whole team is learning new schemes, new blocking assignments, etc. Each game we will be going through a learning curve, especially for our offensive linemen. Be patient Gator fans. We will continue to get the offensive horses up front and they will continue to be MORE familiar and comfortable with what they are doing.
Some of the young receivers (Reynolds and Jackson) looked good. Couple of nice strikes by Kamari. Kitna dropped a couple dimes and a few that were dang close. And I’ve never prayed for a cloud so hard. Fine tan line from my crocs.
