All the teeth gnashing and concern about not having a backup to AR is now gone. I don't know about you. But man...that alone is worth celebrating!
NOBODY KNEW because they wouldn't play him last year. Why he wasn't played in the bowl game is a mystery. He could not have come in and been worse than Emory.
I was surprised that we didn't see Miller today. He was supposed to be out a couple of weeks, and, now he has missed five weeks including his final opportunity to get some playing time in a low-stress learning environment game. His recovery must be further behind than the staff expected. Kitna did look pretty serviceable today, with the exception of the play clock issues.
Since Kitna is doing so well in practice too, I'd say he's now QB2 and Miller has slipped (with his injury) to QB3.
Over/under on the start Kitna screams at some point during the rest of the way???? Sarcasm, but you know it may start
One thing I really like, Kitna is a traditional stand in the pocket QB, similar in that regard to the last #11 at QB.
He wasn't developed because Mullen was an egotistical asshat. He didn't pull EJ at any point because Dan is never wrong. Unfortunately for Dan the last people to hear him say that were the movers. GTHO....
