I like how Desantis bashed Biden until he realized he would need hurricane relief money.

It’s not like the money is coming from Biden’s personal account. Every President gets criticized from the other party and also approves emergency declarations.

It's pretty inevitable that something like this would draw both positive and negative comments on a political message board. Whether it was about DeSantis or Biden, Trump or Harris.

And let's not pretend that wasn't a reason for it being posted.

That said, it's pretty standard political stuff. Spend a few minutes in front of the camera, send out a press release. Neither heroic nor horrific.

Sure, there are times when Biden or some other Democrat will do something that’s not really noteworthy one way or another. A liberal poster will start a thread, a conservative poster will put a negative spin on it. Then 20 liberal posters will jump all over that person for the ridiculous criticism.

If the Missouri lineman stayed in Missouri they might have beaten Georgia.

Every disaster brings two things with absolutely 100% certainty:

    Pandering politicians
    Opposition criticism

Always has, always will. Just stop folks. I’m sick of people acting like only the other side’s turds stink.

He had to do the cooking. He had just wrongfully sent all the cooks to Martha’s Vineyard thinking they were illegals.

No. He’s done some things I disagree with. There’s never been a politician I’ve ever agreed with all the time.

Love that the left tries to say this. He vetoed the one “package” because it had so much pork in there it was a joke. He did approve funding for Sandy victims. Sucks yiy believe anything you read.

Nothing wrong with it from a morale standpoint, but hope he wasn’t there long, there are a hundred more important macro things the state needs from him right now.

To my knowledge there were 2 Sandy relief bills, one was for 9 billion the other for 50 billion. DeSantis voted against both of them. What was the pork in either bill he voted against?

Setting aside that the post that you quoted was about something else entirely (it was about the NJ Governor offering assistance to Florida despite DeSantis' Sandy nonsense and having it turned down), here is the initial Hurricane Sandy relief bill, which DeSantis voted against. I will quote the entire bill, because it is 2 paragraphs. Can you point out the pork?

    https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/PLAW-113publ1/pdf/PLAW-113publ1.pdf

And here is proof he voted against it:

    Roll Call 7 Roll Call 7, Bill Number: H. R. 41, 113th Congress, 1st Session
