Of course he is. He’s EASILY the worst president of my lifetime, he pushed his band of miscreants to storm the castle, and cast serious doubt on the validity of our democratic norms by refusing to accept that old dementia Joe whipped his ass in the election and he’s STILL the overwhelming GOP favorite to win the nomination for 2024. He’ll quit living in our heads when he ceases to be relevant. But that will be up to deplorable nation to decide.
Another from the book…. “When Ruth Bader Ginsburg was dying in 2020, the book says, Trump would sarcastically raise his hands to the sky in prayer and say: ‘Please God. Please watch over her. Every life is precious,’ before asking an aide: ‘How much longer do you think she has?'” Trump Was Basically Giddy at the Prospect of RBG Dying, According to New Book
The whole race card chit has died, you need to move on to "fascism.". That's the new narrative from the democrats and the liberal media.
Ah there's all the lib talking points I have been waiting for. You are really starting to freak out about 11/8 aren't you.... hahahahaha
What some easily brush off as a Dem talking point, that Trump is a Fascist, many see more than just early warning signs. There's ample evidence that Trump and MAGA is a far right-wing, Fascist movement. Here's more from an Italian writer and philosopher that grew up under Mussolini's rise to power. Trump and MAGA check off every single one off of both lists. EVERY SINGLE ONE If you want to argue Trump isn't a Fascist, go for it. I'd love to read the argument that Trump and MAGA doesn't check every single box from multiple writers that Trump is Fascist. If Trump runs and wins again, he will rule as a Fascist dictator. We already saw signs of this during his first term as President. Case in point, how Trump and Biden have reacted to natural disasters that occurred in states where each respective POTUS lost the election. Hurricane Ian just made landfall this week in Florida, a state that Biden lost (prayers for all those effected), and the Governor of Florida is politically a polar opposite to President Biden. And in fact, de Santis is one of the favorites for the R nominee for President in 2024, and could possibly run against Biden, should Biden choose to run. Yet, there have been no politics with Federal aid and relief for the disaster. Nor should there be. This is how the government is supposed to run. Country first, and the residents of Florida whose lives have been devastated by Ian should be the priority. Politics need to take a back seat. In contrast, when a wildfire raged through Northern California in 2020, Trump's initial response was to withhold aid because California voted against him, and wasn't his base! Thankfully, there were enough adults in the room with Trump to convince him just how wrong this was. But if Trump were to be elected again, would these same adults serve again under Trump? Or would Trump choose nobody but yes men and women who believe Trump is always right, and indulge Trump with all his impulses? It's scary and dangerous to even think about it. Under Fascist regimes, those in the minority always suffer. For Trump, the minority is anyone who doesn't support and adore him. That includes me, as I think Trump is a dangerous, wannabe Fascist dictator. If he does win the election again, it leaves me with an impossible choice. Speak out against Trump and face the backlash, or stay silent, and tacitly approve of Trump. And make no mistake, I fear Trump will ignore the Constitution, again, and try to punish those for even speaking out against him. First Amendment be damned. And while I have plenty of reasons to speak out against Trump, if facing punishment, I have reasons to stay silent as well. Including a very comfortable life, in an upper-middle class area, with one kid starting college next year, and one still in grade school. I also have octogenarian parents that moving out of the country means leaving them behind. Trump winning and moving overseas is a serious conversation I've had with my spouse and siblings back in 2020. In short, no good options. Trump was described as an inept dictator during his first term. Mistakes that he should not be given a chance to correct.
Because he tried to overthrow our government and democracy, he was an absolutely terrible president and national embarrassment to those not in his weird cult, and if elected he and his sycophants would try and ruin any and everything this country is meant to stand for. And if you think I’m exaggerating, I can assure you I’m not. Still have no idea how you can possibly support him. All the signs are right in front of you.
I don't know what's in his heart, but he's at the very least pandered to racists and xenophobes by doing things like telling Americans to go back to their countries.
Another example, still relevant. Trump Will Not Apologize for Calling for Death Penalty Over Central Park Five (Published 2019) Five Black and Hispanic kids later exonerated.
Cannot speak for @BigCypressGator1981. Without disclosing my exact age I'm Medicare eligible and it's definitely true. When Trump accepts his defeat and fades into the background like virtually every other defeated president maybe he wouldn't be "living in our heads". Let's face it he revels in living inside everyone's head much more so in the case of his supporters than in the case of his detractors.
They "sold their souls"? One or more of those guys may not have much of a soul to sell. Take the guy who reportedly put some animal's blood on his shirt so he could then claim (falsely) that he held the dying Martin Luther King Jr. in his arms. (I'll never forget when someone asked him about that on the Phil Donahue Show. Donahue immediately said, "We'll come back to that after this commercial." Of course they never came back to it. Ha ha ha ha.)
The proximity to blackness does not immunize white people from racism and v racist attitudes. "He can't be racist. He has black friends," is one of the oldest, bs excuse in the book.
Because Trump liked to pose with African-American celebrities doesn't mean that he isn't a racist. Not comparing Trump with the subject of the link and hopefully this post will not be deleted by the Mods. For the purpose of analogy. Hitler’s Jewish Physicians
What you and others wrongly call racism is a lack of political correctness. Trump tells it like it is sometimes that is interpreted as as being racist. Shithole countries is not a racist term but it was spun as a racist remark by the media it is what they do. Just one of many examples.
