The British pound is not looking too good these days, down to 1.07 per dollar. At this rate, the pound, the euro and the dollar will soon be equal.

No, but I can believe he sympathized with them, hence his reticence to rubber stamp lockdowns (which of course he did) and also his (eventual, too long in coming) appeals to lift them.

    Yes & no.

    1. created welfare jobs for the "working class" at a mere $820,000 per job (YES); "working class" had to pay those taxes though (NO)

Trump’s Washing Machine Tariffs Cost Consumers $800,000 Per Job Created | Mark J. Perry

    2. Scrapped old NAFTA for new more socialist NAFTA resulting in more welfare jobs (YES); will weaken American industry & ability to compete long run (look it up!) (NO)
America’s deal with Mexico will make NAFTA worse
5 things to know about USMCA, the new NAFTA

    3. enacted his radical commie tariffs to create even more welfare jobs(YES); again, the working folks have to pay those taxes (NO)

Trump successfully created the illusion that he sympathizes with working class Americans. If fact, he really views them as marks or using another metaphor as sheep eager to be shorn.

Illusion or no, check the economic numbers prior to March 2020 and compare to now.

He works for one person, DJT.

The fact that his supporters believe otherwise is attributable to how great a con man he is.

People can laugh, but it is entirely possible that, had Trump won in 2020, Ukraine wouldn’t be the cauldron it is presently. And by extension, the economies of Europe and the US wouldn’t be in tatters. Because he might still be talking with Putin.

Because we're on the dregs of a party which is the worst Government in my living memory.

The BoE had to bail out their incompetence this morning or many, many pension funds would have become insolvent.

We are in a period of our country's history which will not be forgotten - people will look back and wonder 'How did you tolerate this for so long?'

Brexit frees U.K. from the clutches of the EU and locked them in with Boris.

If only that wasn't simplistic rhetoric. Brexit has been an unmitigated disaster economically. People defending it at this stage are doing so for pride, not logic or critical thinking.
