Back in the day Johnny Unitas to Raymond Berry was prefect timing at its best.

 

A bit later for the Colts Morrell to Mackey was pretty good.

I think Ogden Nash wrote a poem about them driving the cornerbacks wacky.

 

Ocalaman: George was the "assistant" to the traveling secretary on Seinfeld.
Sadly my father was no longer with us for that show.

 

IN the famous game with the Jets, the Colts practiced on my HS football field in Boca Raton the week before the game. I met them all and chatted quite a bit with Unitas and Bubba Smith. Unitas was surprisingly small, Bubba, not so small. In uniform, on the way to the practice field they were both drinking Cokes and Bubba was smoking a cigarette! All the Colts were friendly.
