We just need him to be some semblance of Will Yeguete... . not jumping through the roof, not jacking up threes.... just crushing the lane and getting some junkyard stats. Anything more is a bonus. Don't count on him to drain threes or stuff stats.
Yeguete was one of the better interior defenders we've ever had. The guy was a consummate team player. If Felder is another Yeguete, we've got a good one.
Besides being the best alternative to CC in the middle and his injury, his problem was that he is trying to be a wing player. I don't want him to become another Keith Stone; a ballerina wannabe with a linebacker's body. But just like CC, give him time there so get better audition tape and coaching but I don't see him parked out there and get a lot of minutes. JMHO
Don't discount Jitoboh just yet. He's steadily improved during his time, and steadily gotten in better condition.
Jitoboh has surprised me. I didn’t expect him to improve as much as he did. If he is healthy and in shape, he is definitely more than just a guy to give Colin a breather. He could be used to change our look on the floor depending on the situation.
Okay, as I understand it, today marked the first day of increased practice time, going from 8 hours per week to 20 hours per week. It's no longer a hard date for when fall practice begins, like it typically has been.
