You just might get a surprise you don't want. In all seriousness I hope those who believe in these shots it protects them, I personally don't have any faith in them at all but would never wish any harm from them. Good luck
I think you should do what you or your doctor feel is best. Posting about it here seems to really serve one purpose.
Did you tell mutz his health update was virtue signaling? You calling out people for posting about getting a booster is just petty. You don’t like it because you have sympathy for anti vaxxers and still think at some level think they are dangerous so you respond by chiding people for “virtue signaling”.
Completely different things. Pointing out one took a shot trying to imply they are somehow a better person for it is completely different than someone sharing about their life changing experience. Want to take an unnecessary shot. Go for it. Bragging about it is nothing more than virtue signaling. Want to make life style changes that truly better oneself and discuss the journey. It is an encouragement to all and the type of thing that can truly address one’s overall health.
Disagree. There is value in reading about the personal experiences of others (see the posts about the shingles vax - was that virtue signaling?) and I can virtually guarantee that @cocodrilo doesn't have a virtue signaling bone in his body.
Kind of like the way the annual flu shot has been tested for decades. Using animal models alone to test vaccines newer versions of previously tested vaccines is the norm when time is of the essence because a virus is rapidly mutating and the newer version of the vaccine is very similar to previous versions.
Not even clever disinformation these days. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2208343 A Study to Evaluate the Immunogenicity and Safety of mRNA Vaccine Boosters for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Variants - Tabular View - ClinicalTrials.gov
