You didn't just say somebody that voted for Bill Clinton because that likely wouldn't have worked for your purposes (as he likely never voted for Bill, just as I didn't). So, instead, voting for either Clinton, even considering that Hillary ran against the sexual predator that you supported initially, is disqualifying.

 

It's one thing to vote for a guy you don't like because the guy he is running against is even worse. But you are, or at least have been, an enthusiastic DeSantis supporter.

So you think that people should be more willing to divorce their partners, especially when they have children? Or only Hillary, because it would have been politically advantageous for her to do that.

The best case scenario is not being married to somebody like that. But I know plenty of Christians that think the divorce rate is too high and that women should try to work their way through those issues. At the very minimum, they aren't actively encouraging more divorce.

And how is all of this not just an attempt to divert challenging information about your current preferences without actually either defending DeSantis' actions as proper or stating that they are not proper and are not consistent with a Christian understanding of humanity?

 

Well the date in that article is before the election and contains 4 names. 2 of which were known for a while at that point.

 

Don’t remember when Clinton’s issues became well known but they were out there enough and the “ewwww” factor of the man was sufficient that I could not vote for him either time - although he was not a terrible president.

Billionaire John Mellon Scaife absolutely HATED the Clintons and info from his well financed smear campaign and army of PIs of Clinton may have filtered through to me.

....But for him to be "trumpian" requires much more than that. When he starts misusing woman and cheating on his wife, and the next wife etc, and holding up Bibles he had never read and claims he never needs forgiveness and calls his own daughter a piece of ass, or thinks bleach is medicine, or has his house raided by the FBI or blah blah blah... He is nothing like Trump.

 

I would be more okay with this if he used his campaign funds for this political stunt instead of tax dollars.
