Florida sees sharp rise in white power, anti-Semitic incidents, report finds

Yes it is. Read the first post and think about it. If you have a state with 1million people and 10 thousand of them are jews you are going to have a certain amount of antisemitic incidents. Let's say you have another state with 100K population of which 1K are jews. You can probably expect about 1/10th the antisemitic incidents.

 

I thought about, why should we “expect” any incidents? More incidents means more bigoted, antisemitic assholes committing them, which does not have to be the result of more Jewish people. You’re trying to rationalize it away, but the increased number absolutely has significance. Should I just move my family to South Dakota because we’ll be the only Jewish people there, so my kids won’t be subjected to as much antisemitism per capita? How does that makes sense?

 

Elderly Jews who have planned to retire to south Florida their entire lives. They don't follow the news and don't care about anti-semitism because they will live among themselves, shop among themselves in strip malls filled with Chinese restaurants, Jewish Delis, chiropractors offices and funeral homes.

You wonder why because you likely know nothing about Jewish culture in the US. Do you even have any Jewish friends? Easy to imagine why you wouldn't.

 

My sister in law is jewish so thanks for embarrassing yourself.

 

The problem that you obviously can't see is this thread Focuses on Florida instead of antisemitism in general. If Florida is what this thread is about then what I am saying is 100% correct. Otherwise Florida should be taken out of the title making it simply a thread about antisemitism.
