The article states that NOT having the vax is more dangerous than having it. Not sure it can be made any easier to comprehend than that.

If vaccines have killed one person, that’s one more that have been killed by a non-existent pathogen.

Not that it was hard for public health to control the media as the notion of a uniquely pernicious super-pathogen played into the media’s “bleeds, leads” instinct. Night after night, interminable months on end, David Muir would lower his voice an octave and soberingly intone, “YOU could get this and DIE!”

“Masks are evil because they frame everyone as a potential vector of disease, and force the healthy to act as if they were sick. They are a reminder to keep several meters distance at all times, to sanitise your hands, and to engage in all the other stupid pandemic liturgies that evaporated this summer during our very brief mask reprieve. Masks are socially corrosive, and on top of that they’re ugly, they smell terrible, they’re physically uncomfortable, and—biggest of ironies for an alleged hygiene product—their daily use and re-use is just disgusting. But none of this matters, because Science.”

Why Has Germany Doubled Down on Masks When There’s So Little Evidence of Their Effectiveness?

Because not double down is to admit that you were disastrously and catastrophically and egregiously wrong.

People die BECAUSE of a seatbelts.

    Are seatbelts dangerous?

Do you avoid them due to the rare danger?

Granted this should have happened a year ago.

No more Covid shots for those under 50 unless there is a real risk.

Why are people aged under 50 not to be re-vaccinated?
The purpose of the vaccination programme is to prevent severe illness, hospitalisation and death. Therefore, people at the highest risk of becoming severely ill will be offered booster vaccination. The purpose of vaccination is not to prevent infection with covid-19, and people aged under 50 are therefore currently not being offered booster vaccination.

People aged under 50 are generally not at particularly higher risk of becoming severely ill from covid-19. In addition, younger people aged under 50 are well protected against becoming severely ill from covid-19, as a very large number of them have already been vaccinated and have previously been infected with covid-19, and there is consequently good immunity among this part of the population.

It is important that the population also remembers the guidance on how to prevent the spread of infection, including staying at home in case of illness, frequent aeration or ventilation, social distancing, good coughing etiquette, hand hygiene and cleaning.”

It has taken way too long for what the data has shown for a long time to get proper guidance like this.

No. We need a thread about the Science of Covid (not the news and thoughts)…

While I understand why you are using the word “science”, allocation of resources squarely falls in the domain of economics. Science can be ancillary at best when it comes to questions of what should we do.

I personally don’t think Denmark’s policy is a bad one, but I can hardly produce a scientific declaration of exactly what the “right” policy is.

I stated why I started this one.

I think it is quite important to have this discussion as Covid is not going anywhere.

This is fair. But the reality is we in the the United States have not followed science and medicine in a proper manner through this whole thing. And continue to move along in that way.

We need to be honest about the disease. The risks. The treatment. The shots. All of it.

It should be highly concerning that our public health agencies are pushing to jab 6 month olds with these shots. We need to regain trust in public health. But continue to harm it.
    Psalm 18:1-3 ESV
I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

Lol …what he posted literally says they are relying in part on immunity from previous shots for people under 50. Science.

The challenge I think is that being honest isn’t as straightforward as you make it out to be for something like this. Do the risks of COVID in children appear low (however that is defined)? Yes, to me they do. Do the risks of the vaccine appear low? Yes, to me they do. After that, any question of policy will be dictated values, not science.

We should all be open to changing circumstances and information. I got both shots and the first booster early on. Decided to wait on the second booster given the numbers I was seeing, and my doctor didn't mention it either. I got Covid last month and felt pretty crummy for two or three days, had a lingering cough after, etc. I probably won't get another shot unless something changes such as another variant or my doctor advises me to do it.

How many deaths could have been prevented if you and your ilk didn't discredit vaccines at every turn? Your hypocrisy has no bounds.

Y'all have murdered hundreds of thousands of people.

When you negate using basic science and medicine practices then you are not being honest.

Rand Paul was spot on to grill fauci over the continued ignoring of natural immunity through the pushing of these shots. They have not been honest at all about this.
