That last paragraph in the four I quoted is the most concerning. As a state we appear to be undercounting hate crimes at the same time they are increasing.

    https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/crime/article265740986.html

The state saw a 50% increase in anti-Semitic incidents in 2021 compared to the year before, and Florida had the third most anti-Semitic incidents of any state in the country, behind only New York and California, according to the report. Nationally, 2021 saw a 34% increase in anti-Semitic incidents across the country.

The ADL found that Florida is home to an overlapping network of white supremacists and anti-Semitic groups responsible for organizing numerous rallies and distributing hateful propaganda. All told, the ADL’s Center on Extremism found more than 400 instances of white supremacist propaganda being distributed between January 2020 and August 2022.

The report also notes that Florida is home to the most people charged in connection with the Jan. 6 insurrection, including members of the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers.

The report fills a gap left by Florida’s notable undercounting of hate crimes, according to experts. Last year, for example, then-Miami Police Chief Art Acevedo told the Miami Herald he was ordering a review of why the department had mistakenly reported no hate crimes as part of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s annual collection of hate crime data.

Pretty damn surprising considering Florida has the 3rd highest jewish population in the united states behind New York and California.
Oh and Florida has the 3rd highest overall population.

Acevedo is an activist who has been feuding with the city of Miami ever since he arrived. He has made a lot of claims about a lot of subjects. Not really a good source since he seems to have an underlying agenda.

Oh did I mention Miami fired him.

It is everywhere, Florida has more people, especially in rural environments. I mentioned before that I stopped shooting competitions (country local) decades ago as the participants were gradually shifting and rhetoric.
The “heritage” movement was big, damn heritage and the N word seem to go hand in hand. Later the rhetoric about the Jews was increasing.
Then the early 90’s militia movements hit. It is nothing new, just went mainstream in the publics eye.

I have never in my life heard the words White Power shouted in public have you ever personally seen a Nazi flag waved in person. I haven't. If these people are everywhere how come we don't see them on the streets?

We saw some Nazis walking around at last year's Daytona 500. Of course hiding their faces with masks. My group couldn't help shouting "Daytona Nazis? We hate Daytona Nazis!".

The two are not necessarily mutually exclusive. More like a continuum

An observation (there may be others)

United Skinhead Nation (USN): USN is a small Okeechobee-based racist skinhead crew that was formed

I understand that they're trying to use a consistent naming structure. But this made it look like they were referring to the U.S. Navy. Might suggest "USkN"

    Another thought

Vinlanders Social Club (VSC): The VSC is a small hardcore racist skinhead gang that originated in the mid-west in the mid-2000s. It has a high association with violence, including multiple murders. Today, the largest chapter of the gang resides in Florida and is led by Don Hansard of Davie.

Since 2018, VSC Florida has fostered an alliance with the Unforgiven prison gang. When referencing the alliance members use the phrase “Only the Folk.”

"Vinland" is a reference to Dane controlled England. But the "Folk" suggests "Volk" in German. Wondering if there is an undisclosed harmonization/link

Other groups: The Uhuru Movement, also known as the International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM), is a Florida-based international socialist Black separatist organization. Founded in the 1970s, the Uhuru Movement is affiliated with the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP), whose co-founder and chairman is Omali Yeshitela. The Uhuru Movement has ties to antisemitic Black nationalist organizations, including the Nation of Islam (NOI), New Black Panther Party for Self Defense (NBPP) and the Black Hammer Organization.

In July 2022, federal agents conducted a raid at the Uhuru Movement’s headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, in connection to an investigation into Russian national Aleksandr Viktorovich Ionov, who is accused of conspiring to use multiple Black nationalist groups in the U.S. to spread pro-Russia propaganda and interfere in U.S. elections.

Uhuru is well known in St. Pete and the bay area. I know a lot of people hate their messages but I have never understood them to be a violent movement or one that creates a generalized threat. I was curious to see whether there would be any connections to violence. I know they have been raided recently, and the details of the investigation are obviously not public, but I thought it was just that they were used as an unwitting conduit for Russian disinformation, a speech act. I wasn't aware that they had ever been associated with violence or danger.

I don't know how one becomes a 'real' Nazi, but dressing up like one to go out in public with other people dressed like Nazis seems like a first step at the very least. There are plenty of other ways to get attention if that's all you seek.
