I have little doubt that Russians dropping their rifles and fleeing on bicycles belongs under the same category as the rest of the fakery and propaganda ... “Ukraine’s successful advance in Kharkov Oblast has been augmented with a blitz of fakery and propaganda designed to simulate a total shift in strategic momentum. These include fakes related to Russian domestic politics, such as fabricated calls for Putin’s impeachment, and battlefield misinformation, like claims that the Ukrainian Army has breached the borders of the LNR or stormed Donetsk City. They have also circulated out of context videos (the most popular one shows a Russian vehicle depot in Crimea) purporting to show that the Russians abandoned hundreds of vehicles in Izyum.” Special Military Operation, Season 2
When you’re losing, especially when you’re losing badly, all you have is lies ... imetatronink: In War, Losers Lie The Most
I saw a discussion this morning that described the strategy used by Ukraine as bold and having not been seen since WW2. NATO conventional forces have been well schooled for decades in how to defeat the Russians and I suspect that the Ukrainians have learned these lessons week and made good use of the aid given them.
I don’t think your handlers would like this one very much. “Your first win?” The idea is to hide your allegiance to Mother Russia. Not out yourself. You might never get promoted to a Facebook bot. You really need to stay away from windows
You’re late to the party. The odd one and I are playing a game. I don’t hate Russia. I don’t believe history began 2/24/22. And I believe that Russia is systematically grinding to dust America’s great proxy. So that makes me a Russian.
They could pay it back in rare earth metals and exotic metals, something that they have in abundance.
Russians are leaving behind a tremendous amount of military hardware. Enough tanks, artillery and combat vehicles to outfit several brigades. The Russians should probably be begging Ukraine for weapons at this point. Russia suffers 'stunning' defeat in Kharkiv
Fake news ... “They have also circulated out of context videos (the most popular one shows a Russian vehicle depot in Crimea) purporting to show that the Russians abandoned.” Special Military Operation, Season 2
Russia left so much ammunition that Ukraine doesn't know what to do with all of it. It was too much to transport it back to the rear areas for safekeeping. Russian troops fleeing after their lines were shattered left behind so much ammo and weaponry Ukraine struggled to handle it all
it would appear that the Russian troops had no desire to be in the fight. maybe, just maybe, most of them have a conscious and realized that what was happening was wrong
I think if it had been as effortless to “de-Nazify” Ukraine as they had been led to believe, then those same soldiers’ morale would be sky high now. Victory does a lot to minimize the moral questions of war. Defeat does much to exaggerate them.
I had recently unblocked everyone but had to put Putin's Mr. Smithers here on the list. I'll be darned if I'm going to put up with Putin fangirling on here.
Translation of "systematically grinding to dust" to its real meaning in the context of the war "using airstrikes and missiles to inflict pain and suffering on defenseless civilians to compensate for obvious military ineptitude".
