So Silese and Skye aren't joining the Gators this upcoming season?

Just in case anyone picks this up off the internet, I don't think this has anything to do with UF:

Riley McCusker on Twitter: "#DontBeSilenced https://t.co/tNkdHBVlxl" / Twitter

    Riley statement : Gymnastics (reddit.com)

Riley apparently is embroiled in a lawsuit with her former elite coach who she moved away from in a nasty break when she moved to Texas and worked out for a year with Jade Carey. I hope Riley can get this behind her so she can move forward in her life and to have a satisfying and successful UF gymnastics career.

College Gym News has an article titled:
Most Anticipated Elite Freshmen on Vault
A Gator has made the list! They include a video of her vaulting.

    Kayla DiCello, Florida

The reigning world all-around bronze medalist and former junior world vault champion has the most consistent Yurchenko double twist of anyone on this list, meaning it could realistically stick around for college. However, Florida has shown that it’s not afraid to play around with vault options for incoming elites, so we may see a different vault from DiCello. With her addition (among others), there is a very strong chance the Gators will consistently fill the lineup with all 10.0 start value vaults in 2023.

Found this on Dr. Sam's site:

If Trinity is physically healthy and mentally right, she is likely to go for Paris 24 when she is through with UF. As I have said about Trinity in the past, she seems to be getting better as she has gotten older. I don't think she has peaked yet, maybe once she returns to elite training next year. Trinity is one of the best gymnasts in the world. I hope she gets the chance to prove it in just under two years from now in Paris.

First, Trinity is going to help deliver the 23 collegiate national championship to UF.

It's great to see Trinity dressed in Gator attire one more year!
I'm going big by predicting Trinity will pass her top AA meet score of 39.90 (2 times she's accomplished this) next season. And she'll do it by scoring a perfect 40.0. I also predict Trinity will move to the top of the Most 10.0s In NCAAs list by the end of the season. She's currently tied for seventh with 20 Perfect 10s. Jamie Dantscher (UCLA) and Jenny Hansen (Kentucky) are tied for first with 28 perfect 10s.

Nya was with the team at US nationals a couple of weeks ago signing autographs. Maybe she is not enrolled this semester?

College Gym News just updated Florida's NCAA WAG Roster and Commits page (added coaches and scholarships). Nya is still listed with scholarship. So until there's an official announcement that she's not returning, I'm going to assume Nya will be back for 2023.

The Floor routine combines tumbling with dance. What sets apart Floor in college gymnastics vs elite/Olympics is the college gymnast can choreograph a routine to showcase her dancing and leaping abilities-allows elegance, expression, originality and musicality-or to showcase her power with more tumbling and flips. For a long college season, you want the highest amount of scoring potential with the least amount of pounding. The gymnast still needs enough difficulty to get the bonus points and maximum scoring potential and having to achieve this in two passes can sometimes be more difficult than spreading it out in three passes. An advantage to having the option of a routine with two passes instead of three means a gymnast doesn’t have to have as much endurance and it can help a gymnast who has injuries because it is less pounding on the body. Another advantage is there will be more variety and creativity in the Floor routines across the board since not everybody is doing power routines of 3 passes.
