Everyone thinks tonight hurt recruiting. I disagree. CBN is building, accept that. Tonight we showed a need at key positions. Depth is good and there is PT to be had.
I don’t get why people don’t get this. There are conceivably QB’s in high school who could step in next year, and if not look stellar, look better than we looked tonight.
I don’t think a loss hurts too badly in the long run, but these young kids make a lot of decisions based on emotions. It sucks that a guy like Keeley didn’t get to see his alleged childhood favorite team pull out a tough win and then experience the high of celebrating in the locker room with the players and coaches. I think that would have gone a long way in swaying his decision.
A qb with doing the basics really well( Trent Dilfwr) wins that game. We basically held them to 16 points and couldn’t move the ball on a sold out defense.
