Only if they broke the law and have documents that are evidence of a crime.

Yep, we are not there, at this point, where folks can make definitive statements that assets were lost due to trump's mishandling/selling documents. But water flows downhill and folks will speculate.

We likely never will be. You never establish that stuff with complete certainty, even on a classified basis. And even if they got to a reasonable degree of probability, that's the kind of stuff that's just not going to be released.

We already know it's highly likely that Trump got an Israeli asset killed by revealing to Lavrov the day after he fired Comey about the location of an asset we learned, which likely let it be reverse engineered. The Israelis were pissed, off the record, but will never ever go on the record on that, because that's just not how the world works.

At some point, anyone who cares about the issue is going to have to make a judgment without full information. These type of things are never released publicly. Just too much about sources and methods are revealed if you put out there your analysis.

Based on what I've seen so far, I have to say it looks disturbingly possible, maybe even slightly probable. That may be as close as we ever get to being able to make an informed judgment based upon open source data.

In any event, we should know enough by now to know that he wouldn't care about the possibility of getting US intelligence assets killed if he thought it would benefit his personal interest, even a superficial interest. We've seen enough to know his moral makeup to know the answer to that one.

Occam's razor. The most obvious answer is usually correct. We know that A) Trump had TS docs containing names of foreign agents at Mar-a-Lago, instead of locked up in a SCIF safe. B) Known spies and imposters had the ability to get into Mar-a-Lago. And C) The CIA recently had issues retaining foreign agents.

I agree we may never know for sure Trump is responsible. But it's no leap of logic at all to believe today, with what we do know, Trump being responsible is the most obvious answer.

Yep, and what's more and as you mention, even if it becomes a known classified thing in the IC, it could remain classified and out of the public domain for many decades

so you have no problem with some of the most highly classified information that we have being left laying around where anybody that could pick a lock would have access to it? how do you ignore such obvious violations of national security interests?

Given the easy access to the documents and the guests who visited MAL, i'm extremely curious about the prints that were found on the documents and folders. I'm sure any professional spies would have used gloves but there's no telling who else trump was showing them off to. Could be a lot incriminating footage in the video feed as well.

unless you were part of the conspiracy to commit the insurrection you have nothing to worry about. If you helped plan and carryout the attempted coup, you should be investigated

That is completely untrue, as evidenced by your acceptance of your President’s corruption- SERIOUS corruption which partly led to our involvement in Ukraine? As well, YOU and your board ilk know he and his family have participated and orchestrated corrupt money schemes worth millions. Had Trump’s family done the same you would demand retribution, because, after all, you are a patriotic, fair American. Right?

You are essentially a participant in his criminal wrongdoing, along with the rest of your criminal group.

You can’t even imagine what your votes and twisted dishonesty has done. It’s only because of your negligence that now our once trusted law enforcement agencies turn their head and cover up the real crimes of the government you elected. You were swindled, happily so, and now the rest o is have to live with the broken country you opted for.

Let’s see if the notoriously biased mods can handle this question- duchen, are you a liar or simply ignorant to the truth?

and not jsut government documents, the most highly classified documents that we possess that can compromise our national security interests. these weren't budgets for un aid, they were nuclear secrets and human intel information that only a few dozen people in the world have authority to see.
