Molecular Genetecist drops mic on the mental illness that is transgenderism.

Perhaps the ultimate plan by the left (whatever that is these days) is to provide SO much "enhancements" to the silly folk that they do in fact eliminate themselves. Isn't that a form, if not the highest form, of free will? If you can't survive the environment you have built yourself, isn't that an evolutionary concept?

And then once you eliminate the truly stupid, you can then corral those folks who realize they can't save themselves and so they give base acquiescence to the elites who want to own the whole enchilada. And then they are a bunch of slaves and/or cattle.

Makes sense to me.

No one cares more for trans and gay Americans than B2B. A true hero with his truth warrior crusade to educate through YouTube vids. These terrors to society don’t stand a prayer if he ever arms himself with an account for tik tok.

 

Indeed, the idea of gender fluidity comes hard to us older folk who grew up with only two options. And indeed, male vs female appears to be a straight up genetic fact about X and Y chromosomes.

Also I watched the molecular geneticist’s answer, and I basically agreed with it. She made three points defending the idea of two genders:

1. Because she’s a molecular geneticist. (Not really a reason, but I am a molecular geneticist too!)
2. Gender is the result of a developmental process. (Agreed!)
3. Women shouldn’t be raped in prison. (Also agreed.)

Interestingly, I don’t think most on the left would disagree with these point either (except most aren’t molecular geneticists), so there must be disconnect at some other point in this argument. I think this area might be psychology, where genetics has been slow to understand. It’s interesting you bring up facts and feelings, because when we think of identity, people’s feelings are the facts. You says you are libertarian, because you feel like a libertarian.

So what might bridge our gap? The science here is very nascent, but this article by the doctor/biologist Siddartha Mukherjee gives us a potential road map in this excellent se le below. Developmental genes actually need to have targets, so perhaps it is these targets that will help provide an answer.

Transgender Derangement Syndrome is the new TDS and it is real.
I suspect that @back2back2006 does multiple Google searches daily using the term "transgender" searching for material like the one he used in the original post of this thread.

Edit: I would also add that if really wants to present serious arguments supporting his view he would link to serious articles rather than humorous and/or absurd videos.

When do you know a society has gone mad ? Is it when people come to believe a man can become a woman ? Or is it when you’re considered mad for rejecting the notion ?

 

As many threads as dad starts about transgenderism (while admittedly having no problem with it), I'm beginning to wonder if their new moniker is the result of a transition of its own sort.

Society has gone mad when a certain group says they don't care what others do with their lives yet continue to talk about and want to pass laws to punish members of those groups for living their lives

 

It's gone mad when a teenager who has been working with his parents, therapists and psychiatrists for years to sort out his gender confusion is bullied relentlessly by his peers to the point of committing suicide to escape the daily onslaught of ridicule and shaming, as happened 2 months ago to the 17 year old son of a neighbor of mine.

 

That's really tragic. Yet some people act as though the problem is 100 percent his for being confused in the first place.
