I get three or four phone calls PER DAY from "Medical Rewards." Always the same message, just different people. "Hi, I'm from Medicare Rewards, about your insurance. My call-back number is..." And the numbers they call from are never the same, there's no point in trying to block them. And they all start with the local area code, though of course they're not local.

This outfit can't just be calling me, they must be calling every senior citizen in the country. Every single day, multiple times. And I guess there's nothing anyone can do about it.

"Hello, this is Susan. I'm a Medicare advisor calling on a recorded line. How are you today ...?"

I wonder if she is friends with "Rachel from credit card services".

I get them too but don’t answer. What helps me out is I still have my old area code from when I lived in Gainesville. All those type of calls come from that area code or out of state. I called 2 from the area code I use to have and they were regular people who were surprised at the message I said they left on my phone. Their numbers were being used somehow? Now I just ignore the calls. I figure if it’s important enough they will leave a message.

I ignore the calls too. But they do leave a message, and the problem is I have to delete them one by one every day from my voice mail. A daily chore I really look forward to.

So can you apply these medical rewards towards an extended car warranty?

Maybe an extended house warranty too. (I've gotten a "final notice" several times in the mail that my house warranty may have expired. I didn't even know I had one.)

I still have my 352 area code from G’ville and the calls all come from central FL somewhere - but not G’ville. I still have friends in the area so I was real persistent in blocking numbers day after day so that recently I don’t get those calls anymore (much). Keep at it @cocodrilo eventually they run out of numbers.

    Scammer payback
    Scammer revolts
    Jim browning.
    Kitboga.

I recommend looking up their channels on YouTube. Jim browning and scammer revolts are more direct and to the point. I can't stop picturing Liam nieson when I hear Jim browning. These two explain what they are doing best for people who aren't aware.

Kitboga and scammer payback are good but have more of an "entertainment " production about them.

They all basically use a dummy computer and let the scammer take their computer over before reverse hacking into the scam center computer. Sometimes they can access their camera and you see these dirtbags at work. They all try to delete files, infect their computers with viruses or both. In any event they all have the same Hall marks....

No inbound phone calls so if you try to call the number back you won't be able to. Also they are becoming more and more refined so now they use local area codes sometimes instead of 888 or outside area codes.

They either threaten you if you don't take corrective action or they act like they mistakenly added money to your account and now want you to refund them. They use programs to alter screenshots of your accounts to make it look like they credited you too much money or if you don't okay along they make it look like they drained your account.

They prey on elderly or sick people. On one video they try to drain a person's account that recently had a stroke.

When they uncover who they really are the scammers get Nasy and vulgar .

These people are the scum of the earth and have no shame or remorse. Some of the content will surprise you if you check these out.

    Cost me $30 a year or $2.50 a month.

Basically if you’re not in my phone book you go to an automated operator and have to say who you are then it gets forwarded to me, auto calls can’t get through it.

If it’s a know spammer it doesn’t even give them a chance to get to me.

I never have any call issues. Otherwise I get 3-4 everyday.

They call the cell phones on the fire engines where I work. When its the warranty scam I play along for a short while or I hit them with the year make and model of my vehicle. They don't know what to do when I tell them it's a fire engine. I've learned how to say some not so kind words in Hindi and then they hang up

If you have small children, tell the scammer to hold on, hand the phone to the kid and tell him/her that it's Santa wanting to give them a free puppy.
