FBI Executed a Warrant at Mar a Lago; the Investigation Continues

Really? I know that the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago pursuant to a valid search warrant based on the finding of the judge that there was probable cause to search the premises; I know that there documents on the premises including a number that were highly classified that should not have been there; based on very credible sources I am rather certain that Trump lied through his attorneys that he turned over all of the documents requested pursuant to a subpoena back in June, I also believe again based on credible sources that Trump never formally declassified almost of the classified documents discovered on the premises and I do not believe the absurd lie that Trump really won the 2020 election but for massive fraud. You on the other hand apparently believe everything that Trump or his selected spokespersons have stated regardless of their veracity.

 

Thanks. This still will leave open the question of whether those documents were really intermingled, or if the FBI did a purposeful search for them. I have faith the FBI did not do this, but in the event of a future IG investigation, which feels inevitable here, I hope the FBI will be able to demonstrate they followed the warrant.

 

They were on video during the gathering of materials, shouldn't that tell us if they were adding to the boxes?

Given the high profile of the accusations and the fact the FBI brought the taint team to the premises, I suspect they made every attempt to do things by the book.

I imagine they knew what they were looking for. Every copy of the sensitive stuff is tracked and would be entered in to logs from the various agency sources. After a while they would have narrowed down what was still outstanding, i.e. missing, flushed, shredded or bandied about.

And I know it might impact TV series, but do we really need it ?

Maybe we can abolish it and pretend it exists. Like climate change isn’t real, but that doesn’t stop them from churning out sci-fi movies predicated on climate catastrophe.
