South Carolina knows how to treat uppity protestors that use mean words and don't appreciate things:

COLUMBIA, S.C. — A pregnant Black activist serving four years in prison for her behavior at racial justice protests will have her sentence reconsidered as she struggles to reach her due date behind bars.

Raising questions about free speech and equal justice, Brittany Martin, 34, was found guilty this spring of breaching the peace in a high and aggravated manner over comments she made to police. Her lawyers have been pushing for a lesser sentence amid increasing concerns about her health and that of her baby, due in November.

The jury acquitted Martin of inciting a riot and reached no verdict on whether she threatened officers' lives. Her legal team was "elated" when jurors found her guilty only of breaching the peace, punishable by no more than a $500 fine and 30 days in jail, investigator Tony Kennedy recalled.

State law defines breachers of the peace as any disturbers, "dangerous and disorderly persons" or people who utter "menaces or threatening speeches." But prosecutors presented the charge as a "high and aggravated" crime, which carries up to 10 years imprisonment. Rosado said Judge Kirk Griffin did not allow her to explain the distinction, and the possibility of a much stiffer penalty, to the jury.

A Black protester voiced anger at police in South Carolina. She got 4 years in prison

    From the article
“The fact is you have people who stormed the Capitol, who led to the death of law enforcement, who tried to overturn an election and fracture democracy. And they're getting two months, three months, six months," Sellers said. "And Brittany Martin gets four years."

lol. The perpetrator of the crime that resulted in the riots was arrested, tried for the crime and convicted. Where's the oppression there? Since you're bringing up minority groups being oppressed, would you classify having affirmative action policies, exclusive organizations, and a long list of other beneficial regulations/policies as being oppressed?

Please tell me where the oppression is in modern America. And no, criminals getting arrested isn't oppression, they choose to commit a crime.

The oppression occurred on Jan 6. I’m still in restorative therapy due to buffalo horned goofballs taking selfies with Capitol guards.

Do you know what oppression means?

As far as social oppression, that means:
"racism (treating people different based on their skin color or ethnicity), sexism (treating people different based on their gender), religious persecution (treating people different because of their religion.) and economic oppression."

I can find lots of examples of government policies and regulations that treat white people differently in a negative way. Same for men. People of higher economic classes also pay federal taxes while the bottom half don't yet still receive"refunds" and access to services.

Who is being oppressed ? And just an fyi, one police officer taking justice into his own hands and being charged with a crime is not oppression. Neither is a group of turds trespassing into government buildings. If you want to get into oppression of different groups via singular violent crimes (which the Floyd incident is) we can do that to.

Lol. You know nothing about me or my perspectives. Sweet graphic though instead of a substantive argument which you don't have. All I posted was definitions and facts.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised since rational thinking and cause and effect relationships are white supremacy.

Imagine the outrage if the Smithsonian released the corresponding aspects and assumptions of blackness. Or a document saying black people are incapable of rational thinking or the scientific method - which btw is exactly what this graphic says. How progressive. That's racism.

What if there were white only colleges (not allowed byw). Or white student groups? What if companies announced they were looking to hire more white males specifically for leadership roles?

Is there racism out there? Sure, on all sides. Moving forward will happen when everyone stops accusing each other and using it to their advantage.

Well, let's look at the comparison provided. You have two groups of people that engaged in what is in essence the same activity (in fact, one group engaged in an insurrection, while the other didn't, but even eliminating that aspect and only focusing on them as individuals rather than focusing on group intent). And yet one is getting a much more substantial prison sentence than the other.

You want an even more direct comparison, what percentage of white people use drugs vs. black people? Now what percentage of arrests are for white people vs. black people for drug possession?

I worry about white supremacy being expressed by force, but not by reason.

Any time someone argues that the white "race" is intellectually supreme, I just think about the unassailable counterargument - the existence of Donald Trump, Samuel Alito, Marjorie Taylor-Greene, etc. In fact, based upon the mental quality of the chosen leaders, you could make a strong argument for white mental inferiority, but that's really not fair. I think the fact that stupid white people exercise a lot of power is more evidence of the overwhelming structural advantages. You can be really stupid and white and succeed just on the celebration of whiteness.

Plus race is a social construct, so ultimately none of the "comparisons" stand up, even if white people do tend to pick really stupid individuals as their leaders and make really stupid arguments without even realizing how stupid they sound, because they speak from power. I think that's what causes them to express inferior arguments with great confidence.

Yeah, that isn't a court case, it is a YouTube video based on a movie. Try reading the question next time and asking questions if that is too difficult for you.

BTW, when a law enforcement organization asked for their data to investigate their claims and possibly utilize the legal system, they did not provide it. So that shows you the confidence they have in their data standing up to that sort of scrutiny.

"2000 Mules" group ignored Arizona AG requests for evidence

Can you name the cities that have been entirely burned to the ground recently?
