Could be luck but it looks like our staff brought in some real winners via the portal.

 

The portal is very important for sure, going both ways..

 

I hope he shows it when it’s important this season.

I see where he visited back in '19, so I guess there was some mutual interest? Any thoughts on this guy? Are we better off holding out for Perkins to pop?

 

Is he a quality lb? Or just another pass rusher turned lb that our roster is loaded with?

 

I wouldn't touch him. Had an arrest for domestic battery that got dropped. Seems like he didn't make the 2 deep for UCF and decided he wanted out.

 

Was that when Tennessee was BACK? Or am I confusing it with every offseason?

 

lmaooooo. yes that was the 2020 recruiting cycle (remember Kamar kept flip flopping between us and UT) and they had like a top 3 class going into August then...games got played and well...they now have a new coach lol

I grew up with this kid's dad, we were real tight, played optimist together. Dad was a good dude and a helluva player but undersized and, unfortunately, got just a lil caught up in the wrong crowd.

Killing me to see this kid falling into a similar trap. It's just really damn tragic man and I know his dad is trying his damndest to set him straight. Feels like FAU would be a good fit/last hope for him. Ceiling is sky high but man, this shit hurts to see.
