The hypocrisy runs rampant yet people people only focus on the here and now. I expect to see this trend continue in the midterms.
At least there was a discussion to be had regarding nearly 100,000 ballots in the great "hanging chad" debate. However, it makes it no less treasonous to call an election stolen. Both this guy and trump should be imprisoned for life for attempted high treason.
Despite the complaints of Democrats, Al Gore conceded in 2000 immediately following the decision of the US Supreme Court indicating that the Court would no longer continue reviewing the results of the election. Hillary Clinton conceded within hours of the media calling the election for Trump. The Donald has yet to concede even though Gore and Clinton both won the popular vote and lost the electoral vote by a smaller margin than Trump did in 2020. In case you may have forgotten: You think that we will ever a similar speech from the loser with the orange complexion? Between his narcissistic personality disorder and his ability to continue milking his gullible sheep-like supporters Trump will most likely continue claiming that he lost the election through massive voter fraud and his followers will continue believe the obvious (to anyone capable of independent taught) fiction.

I have placed a warning in the thread and opened it for discussion. As for my comment yes it is hypocrisy concerning crying foul and elections are stolen. Your thread that was temporarily locked has now been opened with a warning that clearly states violation of the rules concerning the use of Nazi will not be tolerated.

Complaining about the process and refusing to accept the results of an election are not equivalent. A number of Democrats both politicians and rank and file party members are guilty of the former. The defeated ex-president, the most influential Republican and the leading contender for the party's 2024 nomination as well as the overwhelming majority of Republican politicians and self-identified members of the party are guilty of the latter.
There were obvious problems with v the 2000 election and hanging chads. One can make an argument Gore should have won. But it's truly academic. It's in the past, W. Bush was President, and Gore conceded. Fast forward to 2020, and there is no evidence of any fraud. As Barr stated, it's all bullshit. And Trump has never conceded. And 15,000 people stormed the Capitol with Trump flags trying to overturn the election. Anyone trying to say these are the same is being obtuse. And has an agenda.
No it’s not both sides. A significant platform for the maga wing is denying election results because Dear Leader told them to think that. I don’t see a major push by dems to overturn results because they feel entitled and mentally can’t handle losing. Or intimidating reasonable election officials with death threats to the point they fear for their lives and quit. Or the violent attack on the US capital to stop a legitimate transfer of power. And did so literally under the flag of maga and trump and because trump started it with his stop the steal.
