He's made the same joke like 3 times in this thread. Weird obsession.

Given his obsession with the porn on Hunters laptop, kind of makes sense.

I think skepticism is healthy. I also think skepticism sounds like, “Let’s let this play out and get the facts before making any proclamations.”

Instead, however, the language of the Trump supporters has been closer to “He clearly did nothing wrong and this is a verifiable miscarriage of justice by the DOJ!” That sounds not like skepticism, but possession of absolute knowledge. I think this second attitude is inappropriate.

Over and over on this thread, we see deluded Trumpers who don't know the facts of this case or are relying on bothsidesism with their fingers in their ears to avoid the obvious truth:

There is no justification for Trump taking sensitive government documents and storing them in a very unsecured country club.

Given the level of obstruction and Trump’s lack of cooperation, I think the investigation and any subsequent indictments should move forward at full speed, midterms be damned. This all needs to be brought out into the open. We do have a right to know what happened and the potential or actual damage was/is to our national security. Trump may not have those documents but he still knows a lot of the secrets contained in them. He remains a clear and present danger until he’s held accountable. His followers are also a constant danger. They’re going to do what they’re going to do no matter when Trump is indicted. Let them take to the streets. Just make sure the US law enforcement community is locked and loaded.

Graham was probably right. There will be blood in the streets. MAGA blood.

While this has some truth to it, too many cops are MAGA themselves. The presence of traitors in our midst is a real concern, i.e. 1/6.

Now that it's logically speculated that Trump had moved some classified documents to other locations, it's logical to assume that he will anticipate search warrants for those locations (he's not a complete idiot, just an idiot) and simply move the documents back to Mar-a-Lago.

Judge orders halt to DOJ review of documents seized from Trump (msn.com)

Afederal judge on Monday ordered a halt to the Justice Department's review of materials seized from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, describing a threat to institutions and the risk of media leaks that could cause harm to Trump.

“Plaintiff faces an unquantifiable potential harm by way of improper disclosure of sensitive information to the public,” U.S District Court Judge Aileen Cannon wrote in a 24-page ruling issued on Labor Day.

Cannon’s order included permitting a so-called special master to review the seized materials for potential attorney-client and executive privilege. Prosecutors expressed exasperation at Trump’s demand to review for executive privilege, noting that there is no precedent for a former executive to assert privilege to bar review of materials by a sitting executive branch — particularly when the government has determined the need is urgent.

This is great news, should help prevent the DOJ from being crooked

Indeed. How can she even have any jurisdiction? Investigation is ongoing under a different judge and she gets to rule on parts of it? The PRA (law) says claims by the Archivist SHALL be handled in DC courts - how is this then being handled in S FL court? Someone help me understand.

So a judge, appointed by the defendant, rules that the judicial branch may tell the executive branch to stop a criminal investigation on said defendant that involves national security.

    Sounds reasonable.

Admittedly, I was educated in the free government schools in Georgia, but until today I thought I had a pretty good grasp of the definition of the words SHALL BE and that it didn’t mean sometimes, occasionally, or per judicial whim.

Not to mention she is inventing a new standard of "Executive Privilege for Former POTUS" and overriding Joe Biden's EP waiver basically taking on presidential powers herself.

Judges can create rules now? Interesting. On a positive note we need this to stretch into 2024 to keep Trump in the news. This will choke out any other possibilities for another GOP candidate. If Trump is on the ballot then he will lose
