Both sides are a bit extreme for me. Trump is NOT the answer my friend and neither is Biden. We’re all sounding a lot like high schoolers pointing fingers and no adults taking responsibility. I look back and wonder how different we’d be looking as a nation if Dr Ben Carson or Jeb would have been the gop president.

Well maybe if the left would stop its war on the middle of the country. Stop its war on straight white males. Stop its war on Christianity. Then maybe I would no longer feel aggrieved to my core. Your side wants to eviscerate the country I grew up in. The country I loved. The culture I loved. Maybe if your side hadn't ignored the middle of the country for so long we would care what you think. But no, you care more about the illegal immigrant in Mexico than you do the family in West Virginia or Ohio barely surviving. You'll give illegal immigrants free healthcare while you'll leave actual U.S. citizens unable to afford their prescriptions. Your side cares more about illegal immigrants than legal tax paying citizens. Your side ignored the problems middle America has faced for a long time since it didn't effect them and their coastal elite friends. It is your side that has ignored us for years. It is your side who has mocked us for years. And we've been silent. We've just taken it. Your side just doesn't like it that we're finally standing up for ourselves. That we're not taking it anymore.

And that diversity will not be a strength. It will cause the downfall of the country if a Civil War doesn't happen first. And there actually is something we can do about it. Enforce our immigration laws, build a border wall and have genuine border security. Set a maximum limit for legal immigration each year. And advise that no illegal immigrants will be allowed into the country at the southern border. The immigration process must begin at the U.S. Embassy either in their home country or the closet country with a stable government. Trump wasn't perfect but he's the only one who's ever tried to actually fix our border security and immigration issues. I'm from West Virginia originally (so yes last night was terrible sports wise as well) and as it stands more and more I want to move back to and isolate myself from this corrupt society with good country people.

You’re having an emotional response to the moment, cfl. This is ok. All humans have them. Many liberals had such a moment when the overturning of Roe was leaked. I certainly had one when the Ukraine invasion started (my family is Ukrainian). However, do know this emotion will pass. As such, please don’t do anything your later self will regret. It certainly seems like the other side is evil and deserves a rough response, but that’s often exactly how they feel. In fact, this is a major theory of evil and violence: basically all groups feel justified in their violence against the other side’s “evil”. Well speaking as a practicing and life-long straight white male, no one is at war with me. Take a look at the membership of the House, the Senate, the Presidency, the CEOs and board members of corporate America and you will find straight white males are well or overly represented.
The big difference between Trump and biden is Trump is a leader. Biden just repeats and follows the anti Trump crowd.

Get back to me when you've been declined for a job because you were a straight white male for a lesser candidate because corporate needed more "diversity" hires. And yes I know this for a fact, a colleague of mine who works in the recruiting department for that company told me that "white males were only brought in to interview to prevent any discrimination charges but were absolutely not going to be seriously considered". Yes I do work for that company and ended up getting a better position but it's still seriously screwed up. So I'm sorry if I'm not a big fan of "diversity" outside of diversity of thought.
