    You said it guaranteed Palin would win and that the Democrat had no chance. It is right in the OP.

    I can understand your disappointment considering that the November 8th general election will most likely be a repeat of the special election. Despite her celebrity status a majority of Alaskans have decided that the political career of their resigned ex-governor is over. Besides if she doesn't have to serve in Congress she will have more time to allocate as a warmup act for the former president's MAGA rallies.
