No white helmets this year I see. That's a shame. I liked the white helmets with the blue jersey and blue pants and also the all white was nice too but the white helmet with all blue was clean.

I have to disagree about his OC abilities, he's, at best, an average OD. His offense excelled under Urban when he had the best talent, but running your QB 20 times and WR 10 times per game is not great play calling. Much of last year was run on first 2 downs setting up 3rd and 6, then call for a 4 yard pass.

 

He was extremely proficient at all his stops with Meyer prior to Florida and all that talent. He was successful at Mississippi State, a typical bottom feeder in the SEC. And then at Florida he completely changed his MO when Trask won the job and showed us that he can succeed with an immobile throwing QB. A guy with his personality and leadership skills doesn’t get as far as he did without being really good at something and for him that was coaching QBs and calling offensive plays.

He really wasn't successful at Miss St. He def had one or two improved seasons and one was magnificent until the late season slide(sound familiar?). He literally had a losing season, then we hired him. IOW, his program was in a slide(sound familiar?). Where would Miss St be had Mullen stayed there? Good question. The thing you have to remember about Miss St is they never had good staffs. The bar was really low.

Our AD who knew him at Miss St did not want to hire him. None of his recruits followed him to UF- at least not any of the high profile players they were in on during that cycle. And as far as team/personnel management... Felipe, EJ ? I admit, I was impressed with what he did with Trask but on the other hand, maybe Trask made him look good.

 

Yeah I like him too. I just hate the thought of him doing hype videos in red and black if you know what I mean
