DOJ 'grasping at straws' with latest reason for Trump raid (wnd.com) The Justice Department's reply Tuesday night to Donald Trump's request that an independent "special master" be appointed to review the documents at the heart of an FBI investigation shows the administration is grasping at straws, shifting the premise on which to indict the former president, contends former acting director of national intelligence Ric Grenell. "They have completely changed their tune on what the charges were," he said in an interview Wednesday with Steve Bannon on "War Room." First, the DOJ alleged Trump was illegally possessing classified information, to which the former president argued he holds the authority to declassify any document, noted Grenell, who served under Trump. Then, Justice officials leaked to media the claim that Trump was holding nuclear secrets. Now, in the DOJ's reply to Trump's request for a special master, the department is accusing him of obstruction of justice, stating documents likely were "concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation." "They don't know what they are doing at DOJ," Grenell said. "They are grasping at straws." He noted "this is the same crowd that told us Russia collusion, the FISA warrant, Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation." Wray is only trying to save his job, Grenell said. "Let's be very clear, Chris Wray knew that FBI agents were being very partisan and weaponizing the FBI, and he didn't care – until it impacted his job."
Apparently Trump and his attorneys found a way to work around the non-residency agreement. Trump claimed that as an employee of Mar-a-Lago he is entitled to reside at the resort and apparently the Palm Beach City Attorney bought into the argument. Trump Living At Mar-A-Lago Doesn’t Violate Residency Agreement, Town Attorney Says
My guess is the fbi spread out the documents on the floor to show that they were there. I truly hope Trump didn’t have them scattered on the floor.

The FBI of course did not plant evidence at Mar-a-Lago. But I'm beginning to think that Trump himself was planted, not at Mar-a-Lago but on planet Earth itself. The question is by what alien civilization and for what ungodly purpose.
The FBI Hasn’t change its position on anything. The response by the FBI to the court does not say what is in the documents. And obstruction of justice was one of the charges in the warrant. But, the FBI need not allege that all charges in the warrant. Trump has no business taking classified documents home with him and keeping him after his presidency ended. And keeping them. And lying after the fact about having them. And lying that he declassified them. Trump support has reached the level of idol workshop now. An article quilting Steve Bannon? He is the Scum of the earth.
These sources are the world of truth that too many people live in. WND, the Western Journal, Gateway Pundit. You rarely see posts from Legitimate news sources from some people because they go to garbage sources for information that creates a reality for them. You can’t break through into that reality
If anyone else had all those documents in their home they would already be charged and facing a trial. This bozo gets to whine and skate.
There was a trump-sized loophole in the agreement so that “employees” were allowed to live there then donald declared himself an employee.
Dude, I live just like most on here and unfortunately you liberals messed up a good thing, that's the reality were living in. You and others just spew trash like that when you have no argument, just shows how ignorant you and others actually are
This is a complete twisting of what went on that only an intentional liar like Bannon or a moron who hasn't followed this case at all could buy. Or of course, the dimwits this pablum is for. "Classified info" was never part of the charges. It was illegal concealment or destruction of government documents, obstructing an investigation and illegal possession of NATIONAL SECURITY DOCUMENTS for which classification is irrelevant. Those were the charges from the very beginning. Nothing has changed.
