Yeah focus on my post and not on OPs message. It's clear that it's referring to people of your ilk, which is why you cowardly won't address it LOLL
Here is some good data on how independents usually aren’t all that independent. they almost fully lean into one party or the other in most cases. So those numbers aren’t surprising. 6 facts about U.S. political independents
Wouldn’t it be awful for the Dems either way? A Dem isn’t going to win the presidency with only the votes of AA’s and women, nor would one win without them. One thing is clear to me: the Dems are not going to win with Biden. I’m hoping he announces after the midterms that he will not seek re-election and allows those who want to run to start jockeying for position. Sadly, I doubt he does, and it would set the party back for years.
LOL. So we still have all these people thinking the election was still stolen…. Some people believe everything they read.
well I would trust multiple data points from reputable organizations polling nationally, how pubs are campaigning on it, who won the primaries on the Republican side (almost wholly election deniers over those who wouldn’t sign on to it) and the laws legislatures are passing in states like Arizona, Florida, Georgia etc to try and stop a “repeat”, over someone’s circle of friends representing one thousand thousandth of a percent of the Republican Party )and likely demographically similar as well) as the critical data point. But to each their own.
And in the case of the Republican party those people apparently constitute a majority of the voters in primary elections. Trump's single most important litmus test in determining which candidates he would support in primaries was election denial and the majority of candidates endorsed by the former president did in fact win their primaries.
Stop a "repeat"? You mean to stop people from both sides from abusing the process? Look, make election day a national holiday, make ID's free, make it possible for those who can't travel to be able to vote, but most people should be able to vote in person. Not complicated. These are common sense rules. But back to your politics.
It's crazy that right wingers have to tell right wingers that reality is reality. I very rarely have to tell a Democrat that there is no way for him to fall off the edge of the earth if he keeps sailing away from land in a boat.
Oh yea? What is a woman? That aside.... There is no path forward WITH Trump that doesn't end up in all out war. Refusing to honor an election ought to be a non-starter for everyone involved.
It’s not my politics, every single study of the last election has shown there was not near enough fraud to tip the election, and what found came from both sides. I don’t care much about the fight over drop boxes and other peripheral stuff. Though I do find it ironic that so many on the right revere the second amendment to the point of absolutism, but don’t hold the same view for making sure people can vote (despite study after study saying that type of fraud is basically 0 statistically). I am more concerned, and everyone should be, about things like where Arizona is trying to pass a bill where the state legislature can override the states popular vote. Georgia gave the state legislature the power to remove local election officials - and guess which county they started to try and work on first? The biggest dem county in the state - Fulton. Mastriano, should he win in PA has suggested something similar to Arizona there. and that’s just top of mind, there are many others. Which is why denying this threat is real isn’t helping. It’s way beyond the basic power grabs that have gone on for centuries now, all over a propagated lie because orange Julius doesn’t have the ability to accept basic math or that he lost something he wanted. His ego wouldn’t allow it, so here we are.
My post wasn't about any polling, but my link referenced 6 prominent Republicans running for the highest offices in 2 or 3 swing states who have built their entire campaign around the concept of a stolen election. But because you don't "know anyone who believes it" you've convinced yourself it doesn't exist.
From what I have been able to ascertain, and before I continue, I readily admit I have not done a detailed study or created a matrix, .... The documented facts regarding voting irregularities, especially by figures of authority, skew much heavier to Republican examples of voter fraud. Trump created a false narrative because he convinced himself voter drop box's and polling over a multi-day period was a political intrigue designed to prevent his re-election. Yes the rules changed but the country was in the midst of Covid. He really dis-respcted all of the citizens committed to counting votes, including in red states, because he did not like the results. He disrespected everyone involved in the process, including many GOP officials and he continues to do so.
