Even jokingly comparing the term racist with the term liberal is asinine.

Unless you think the term liberal is a negative? If so...Agree and noted.

 

Because he’s wrong. Just pointing it out. It’s ok. Go look at his posting history and point out even 25% of his posts where he posts a conservative point of view.

Nah, I don't think the term liberal is negative. Especially if the poster being accused has a well-documented history of posting a ton of pro-liberal, anti-conservative content. In that case, the accusations have some sort of validity and the poster shouldn't have their feelings protected and shouldn't get mad when people accuse him of being liberal.

Having said that, if a poster has a history of posting a ton of anti-black, anti-Civil Rights, pro-racial slur content, then when they're accused of being racist, their feelings shouldn't be protected either. Most importantly, that poster shouldn't get mad when people accuse him of being racist. Am I right?

 

Ok you're right. @philnotfil you post a ton of pro-liberal content, therefore you are a liberal. Now let me use that same logic in addressing the posters on here who post a ton of racially inflammatory content - you are racists. I'm glad we had this talk guys!

If you can arrogantly accuse people of being a liberal based on the content they post, then folks shouldn't get angry when people accuse others of being racist based on the content they post. Seems pretty simple to me.

 

Take 5 minutes and point out all the conservative posts your boy Phil has posted recently. I’ll wait. My bet is it’s 90% plus to the liberal side. So by that measure if you can show someone has posted 90% of their posts that are racist than I’m on board with you. Now prove itZ.

 

Why should I have to do any research? I already admitted that based on his content, liberal Phil is a dirty, filthy liberal. Boo! Shame on him. And I've used that same logic to then conclude that based on the content they post, some posters are racists. I'm fair across the board.

Whether he's conservative or liberal, his posts are vastly more thoughtful and reasonable than yours. Your posts are nothing but knee jerks and insults.

I guess the truth hurts when I call people out. Tough luck. If people don’t like being called out, then maybe don’t be a hypocrite. That simple.

 

I find it fascinating that people are so concerned and even obsessed by labels. They are meaningless. position by position, no two people are the same, regardless of what they are called. People seem to want to throw those labels on others so that they can marginalize the argument by default.

And even if they had some real meaning, a moderate Republican would likely have a very different definition of one than a rock solid conservative. Or even a moderate dem.
