    I think you're attributing the same motivation to her probably applicable to a number of Republican politicians.

    Edit:
    I know it's "off-topic" but Rod Blagojevich, one Democrat who tried a shakedown, was caught and convicted had his sentence commuted by the former president.

    This is all overblown. The Queens waterfront will redevelop at some point which will make it insanely expensive, just like Brooklyn. NYC will continue to attract major corporations and even Amazon couldn’t stay away. JPMC is building a new $4b+ headquarters, Disney has a new headquarters, Hudson Yards is still developing, etc.
