Yep. Joe Biden's. Looks like all of the legislating that Biden coordinated this summer is starting to really pay off. Gas prices moderating probably is helping too. Biden looks like a 400 meter sprinter who saved his energy for the last 100 meters to win running away. Don't underestimate Dark Brandon!

City, I have some beachfront property to sell you if you believe the polling has swung that much in Biden’s favor.

Gas is down temporarily, but groceries are still way up. Heating oil, NG, and LP are going to create a brutally expensive winter. On top of that, people who didn’t get out of the market lost about 6% of their money in the last ten days and the sell off continues. And if that’s not enough, go ask people trying to get a mortgage how happy they are with the interest rates they are looking at?

It will be a good day when the media lifts their face up out of Biden’s lap and does some honest polling.

Just curious how many states decided to suspend the state tax on Gas when it when through the roof and how much of the decline is due to that?
It varies greatly I think I saw Cal was over 50 cents per gallon.

    To each their own.

I think it is pretty funny, taking the other sides taunt and sending it back at them in response to positive events attributable to Biden.

Well here in NC the gas price has dropped about $1.50 from its peak. I'm pretty sure our state gas tax isn't $1.5 per gallon.

I would add that Virginia never suspended the gas tax. I just paid $3.55 a gallon (actually $2.55 thanks to a promo from a local supermarket chain) at the Shell station where I usually fill up. At its peak back in mid-June the same station was charging $5.09.

If you can’t believe they swung up that much why would you believe they ever really swung down that much?

They didn’t swing down. It started with Afghanistan a year ago and has been a pretty steady drop since

Gas prices nationwide are down 5 cents in the last week. I wonder if there are a couple of easily anticipated major demand shocks that happens in a football-crazed college town in late August?

One party is trying to jail women for having abortions and the other is forgiving student loan debt.

Biden is riding a big winning streak.

I never suggested it was a major part of it. I asked the question how much of it was due to that certainly some states have very high gas taxes and suspending them would have an effect. The fact that the Russian's actually are finding ways around selling their oil caused far less shortages account for the majority of the decreases.

Be prepared to pay more going into the fall.

Be glad you don't live in Europe their heating bills will be crushing people.
