On the flip side, if they were "Russian collusion, Spygate etc.", it's only logical they prove his guilt. Why else would he steal them and subsequently no disclose them? Yes I do, and you are correct that removal of classified materials is bad. However, you are not automatically thrown in jail. An investigation on what the material is, who the owner of the classified material is and they have to figure out if that material is derived or not. The bottom line is, the public should never know. If they are TS materials, the political pundits on Fox and CNN are never going to get answers.
Whereas it's true we may not know the actual contents of the stolen documents unless Biden declassifies, we may know the topics if there's an indictment. Particularly if the insecure storage methods resulted in breach that endangered the USA. John Anthony Walker stole over a thousand classified documents and we know they were on topics ranging from battle strategies to nuclear weapon control systems.

So then why not go through the process of doing it and release the documents to the public years ago? How does "I found all this evidence of corruption, so I am going to keep the documents and keep it secret for years (while possessing the documents illegally)" make any sense as an action? It is interesting how little critical thought goes into these claims (meaning, basic things like, would the chain of events make any sense if examined critically?).
If the contents were about the deep state, why hasn't trump used it as a defense from the get go? After all, that spin seems to resonate with the rubes. It does not change the material facts that stolen documents were sought for and found in his possession.
