I was at game at swamp when they beat Santa Fe. That was quite a run they went on.

No kid should take an offer from anywhere for granted. Especially one from Saban and Alabama. The kids are the ones putting their body on the line for entertainment, and to bring the school money -- they should have the power. They should fully explore their options, and should be able to without loser ass fans on message boards, twitter or whatever else (whether the kids read it or not) giving them shit.

Don't act like if you committed to a job after an interview, and another company came in with a much better offer last minute you wouldn't at least consider it.
