Maybe the FBI didn't want to repeat the same mistake they made in 2016 when they publicized their search of the laptop used by Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner, a decision that may very well have helped Donald Trump in the election.
Clinton aide on laptop that may have lost the election
FBI search warrant for Clinton emails on Anthony Weiner's laptop made public
FBI Seized Anthony Weiner's Laptop Looking for Hillary Clinton Dirt, Unsealed Warrant Reveals

By the way virtually every major news source covered the Hunter Biden laptop story. I guess the decision to limit it's coverage on Facebook could have denied those persons that rely on the social media platform for their "news" access to the story. I also suspect that those voters obsessed by the Hunter Biden laptop story would have never voted for Biden anyway so the apparent decision to limit its coverage on Facebook had virtually no impact on the outcome of the election especially considering that Biden won by a margin of almost 8 million votes.

If the jist of the story is that the FBI gave a vague warning that "disinfo is coming" and didnt specify, wouldn't it be Zuck and Facebook that 'helped' Biden by assuming that was the laptop story?

1st of all let's acknowledge that the article itself doesn't say it but it's in the video. 2nd off you are now trying to downplay it. Just be like Zuckerberg and admit it was wrong and move on. Keep playing politics bud. Partisans gonna partisan i guess.

Again, wait a minute. This is about accuracy. You made specific claims that simply weren't in the story you posted. They weren't there.
So you posted a second story. They weren't there either.
Now you claim it's in the video. I watched all 1:25 of it. Nope, it's not there either.

So now it's just "Yeah, well you're playing politics ..."

One more time: It's about accuracy.

What wasn't there? Zuckerberg said the FBI came to them before the election and said "russian disinformation" is coming pre election. Then the hunter laptop story hits the Post and all the social media companies shut it down. Those are all FACTS. But hey, you keep thinking nothing wrong happened. Back to politics as usual. FBI shouldn't have done it in 2016 with Clinton either. Everyone thinking the fbi is always on the up and up has their head in the sand. Have years and years of examples of this.

Seriously? You claimed this happened right before the laptop story broke. Maybe it did. Maybe it was three months before. We don't know, do we?

What difference does it make if it was a vague warning or not? If facebook took the warning and acted why does it matter if it was a vague warning or a huge warning?

Seems like there is a pretty big difference in giving a vague warning vs saying "ignore a specific story." Seems like Facebook is trying to shift blame to the FBI to ingratiate themselves to gullible conservatives. If you get a fortune cookie that says "you will soon meet your true love" and assume its the next person to talk to you, well that's kinda your fault, not the fortune cookie's.

Just my opinion, the original post seems symptomatic of Hunter Biden Derangement Syndrome. Hunter is a former drug addict who tried to monetize his father's position. He may be guilty of failing to register as a foreign agent in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and he may have also failed to report taxable income. That's essentially the story and while accurate the emails discovered on his laptop confirm the same. There is absolutely no evidence that Hunter actually influenced his father even though he admittedly tried to create the illusion that he could do so.

LOL. We have the head of FB telling us the FBI said be wary of "russian disinformation" before the election, then the Post Laptop story hits BEFORE the election and all the social media and most all media buried the story. Sure, you keep thinking the fbi had nothing to do with it. I'll believe Zuckerberg over you.

I don't believe a damn thing that comes out of Zuckerbucks mouth.

There is a reason Zuckerbucks is bringing this to the forefront now. It's the 2022 midterms. He is just trying along with the DOJ/FBI to make 2022 about Donald Trump. Well, it too late for that. The democratic socialists cannot run on failed Biden socialist and globalist policies, so they are changing the subject to Trump.

The same is going on with the dem socialists jumping on the new blame Trump game for the vaccines. It has been the dem socialists with the lockdowns and required vaccines to the point of firing people for not complying. It's the shift the blame game while again bringing Trump into the 2022 election process.

I would suspect somebody is going to eventually take to court and have Biden's loan forgiveness struck down too. Matters not though as the 2022 midterms will have come and gone before these small minded people who are having their votes purchased are actually being pi$$ed on by Dictator Biden.

All of the internet sites which includes Zuckerbucks' Facebook announced long before the 2020 election that they did not do enough to help Hillary win in 2016. They corrected that in spades including up to banning the president of the United States. Hunter Biden was the icing and the cherry on top of the cake. It was an election changer ignored then, so they are just shifting focus to Trump.

The FBI is still today protecting Hunter Biden. It's not because of Hunter either. It's because Dictator Biden is the head of the Biden Crime family. They can't and won't move against Hunter as they will also have to move against the Bug Guy, Dictator Biden.

This has to be sarcasm. Do you make this ignorant statement as sarcasm or do you believe this nonsense?

Can't tell whether you're being serious or facetious. While funny the post also sounds like it could have originated by a willfully ignorant member of the Cult of the Donald.

Connect this dot. Is there evidence that neg stories about corruption & Hunter's laptop would have hurt (or helped) Biden? It seems there are a lot of voters out there that love lawlessness & corruption. Or, do you just FEEL like it woulda hurt Biden.

Apparently there is no cure for Hunter Biden Derangement Syndrome. Once again, please provide at least a scintilla of evidence that Hunter actually influenced Joe Biden. Asked other posters and haven't received a substantive response and by the way the email containing the reference to the "big guy" was dated 2018. Last time I checked Old Joe really couldn't influence policy back then considering that the president with the orange complexion was in the White House and the Republicans controlled both Houses of Congress at the time.
