Time is getting short. I need to make a decision NOW.

Do I lose 20 pounds and plan on wearing my old "40-0" shirt, or do I continue to drink beer and eat wings for the football season and buy a larger shirt?

The joke that keeps on giving!

People were having trouble pronouncing his name, so this is the nickname he's running with, according to the official basketball twitter. Instead of trying to figure out the name with no vowels, they've let us know we can just call him Sig Ned. I'm guessing the rowdies will shorten that to either Sig or Ned, not sure which way they'll go. It will be an interesting little story line to watch over the first few weeks of the season. They will probably have settled on one or the either by the time SEC play starts.

Unless he is in for the tipoff, the chant at the start is two syllables, so if he gets the nod over Colin, they may go with the full Sig Ned :)

the marketing department somewhat botched the graphics/layout of a tweet that announced he was “SIGNED”. The poor spacing made it read as “SIG NED”.

Watching some video of him in Germany, it's apparent that the Euros carry the ball as much as Americans. Not Sig, but the guards on his team.

I remember Jordan getting called for carrying in the NBA once and his facial expression was priceless.

I don't know when it started, but Jordan was probably instrumental in making it routine. He was such a superstar he could get away with it all game long. Soon everybody was getting away with it.
So I don't put much stock in people saying, "Oh, the players today would DESTROY the players of the 1970s and early 80s." If they were time-traveled back to play in the League of that era, they'd be called for carrying the ball every time they touched it.

That, or "Wheel of Fortune." As in, "Pat, I'd like to buy a vowel."
